Arm weight can vary, depending upon what you are doing. In a basic sense it means to let the natural heaviness of your arm release down onto the bow to hold it on the string. This is different than "pushing" down on the bow, and is actually a more advanced thing for your arm to do. If you are a beginner it may be all you can do to just get weight on the bow and push.
