Hakeem’s Last Game vs David Robinson (VERY RARE FOOTAGE)

This last ever game between Hakeem Olajuwon and his archrival David Robinson would take place on December 12, 2001. In the game for the Toronto Raptors, Hakeem would put up 9 points, 9 blocks, 6 rebounds and 2 steals while playing 29 minutes. As for the San Antonio Spurs, David Robinson would put up 9 points, 10 rebounds, 4 blocks and 3 steals while playing 28 minutes. David Robinson’s Spurs would beat Hakeem Olajuwon’s Raptors 108-95.

Fun Fact: Hakeem’s defensive skills originated when he was still living in Nigeria. He played both volleyball and handball to give him the ability to swat, time, and accurately hit the ball.
