I drove a 79 for almost 10 years as a daily driver and they're still one of my favorite trucks. I love what you're doing with this project, you make me want to get another one and start the build. Thank you.
Its great that you have your boys working on it with you.... I wish I had taken more of an interest when my dad was around, but my now 18 yr old son and I started on a 79 Bronco a couple months ago and we are making progress. My dad would be proud on his grandson.
Sweet ride! I take delivery of mine next week. My dad owned it 30 years I drove it when I was 16 as my first car.. now I'm 33 and getting it back.. beyond stoked! Thanks for the inspiration!
Appreciate your entire series of videos documenting your restoration. You are very thorough and do a great job explaining as you go along. I am starting my own restoration of a ‘79 Bronco this year and will reference your videos along the way. Great stuff!
Nice Project, believe it or not I bought one that needs allot love as well, same time, Last year. But Unfortunately , My body decided it was time to have a Heart attack, I am ok, Doc fixed me all up... So I am now just getting back to my Project. It is for my Daughter. So on the web refreshing many ways I need go about fixing it. Like your way replacing the rear panels, Haven't removed mine yet. cant wait to see how many Mouse houses are in there.
Awesome job on this build i have been following you from day one with the new bumper and grill she looks brand new again interior panels are also looking good Really nice see the whole family taking a hands on interest in the build. Looking forward to the next video.
How did you reinstall the molding? It looked like the rivets were missing. I have a 78 f150 and I'm trying to figure out how to install the rivets correctly since the body parts I bought doesnt have the rivets on them
Hello, i love it! Super bad@ss very well done! However, I have a question? I just bought a straight body, running, and mild rust 78 bronco. As excited as i am to build it up, work has me running 72hr weeks so it's a slow build. My question is, did you build the metal frame that you mounted the panels to or was it bought/standard? i dont have a frame like that in the back of my 78 but really want one lol. Any help on what its called or how to build/acquire one would be very helpful. Again amazing job great build 👏. Brad
Thanks for the videos! So helpful as we dive into our 79. Have done the raptor liner on interior and roof on our 96 and will do some on the 79 as well. Thinking about building in some storage bins on the rear panels. Were you pleased with the chrome grill? I was debating polishing an existing one but am looking for a straighter version to begin working on for a better final product.
Looks good man! Is that an LMC grill shell & headlight bezels? If so, what did you think about them? How much of a difference did all of the Dynamat make?
Great job! Ready to see that last video! How is the 460efi working out? Would you do it again or would you go a different direction? What’s the gas mileage like? I have a 351m in my 79 that I’m building and considering the 460 swap.
Hey Kevin I would definitely recommend the 460 swap but would suggest a early 70's engine, would also be a good idea to port/clean the heads up and bump the compressor up to around 10.1, run a small RV cam, that will make a good low-end engine that will get a solid 10 mpg. I'm sure that's around what your modified is getting but man it's a world of difference power wise. I run a carbureted 460 in my bronco and I love it.

Very cool. I used some thin padding in mine to give depth and hide fasteners

Great job! I made some for my 1990 out of MDF. Put a 12inch sub on the passenger side in the same place
I have this same year truck in my garage. Love what you did to yours and now I can't wait to get back to restoring mine. Thanks for the vid
The Bronco looks awesome looking
I watched all eight episodes on this build today. Fantastic job!
Starting to get the look. Great job and hope you get years of joyous memories out of em.

It is looking really good. Thank you for documenting your work and all the great suggestions.
I got 1990 door mirrors on mine, they are subtle differences, but they look better.
Thank you now I know how to redo my 78
Awesome job. Been watching all the videos, hope to see the finished product up here soon!

Love the truck!👍🏽👍🏽🇺🇸🇺🇸🇺🇸🇺🇸
@@93percentgarage You should be proud while driving that truck. Its a bad ass truck ,4 real!
Looks good I think you should just put all the clips like the top instead of hidden just in case they break .
Nice bronco
Nice work!
You took out the whole rear just to do the bushings-very adventurous of you
@@93percentgarage I was hoping you had another reason lol
Nice WORK .
Buen trabajo linda bronco
Great Bronco! Any updates?
Great video buddy thanks

So did you ever get to install the trim molding, I thought you needed access from the inside in order to do that.
Nice man
Looks great!

Well done all around
Awsome work!
I like it, but I would do all exposed fasteners. Good info
Great job 1/4 foam would hide bottom fasteners thanks

We are about to do similar project on our Bronco. Considering abs plastic.
Another great video! What are your thoughts on rhino lining the back floor vs carpet? Also, where did you get your seats? thanks!

Anybody knows what tool I can use to remove the rear panels armrest bolts? I tried to use a regular socket and it didn't fit
Do you still have the Bronco?
Do they want 250 for metal panel or a Masonite panel
Nice....
GOOD JOB
What happened? Did you finish the build? Did you sell the truck?
@@93percentgarage Thank you!
Must be nice having a woman in your life willing to help
Don't ever get rid of it..., you will kick yourself in the butt for doing it.
