Why is she always being criticized for too much soy sauce, too much salt, no sugar, too much sugar? Not enough flavor, etc. I always add a little sugar in my cooking to bring out flavors. She's cooking for her family's taste preference. Not yours.
I watched your video of taking the children out to eat. Have you considered replicating some of the dishes they ate? Minus the deep fried foods. I think you can easily cook steaks and pasta for the family. You do a good job of using fresh produce from your garden. I understand seafood, fish, and beef can be expensive. It is for me.
Mei mei eats plain rice because she doesnt like the menu today. When she favours certain food, she will request more of it. Problem is dear mom, Xiao Jiu shld encourage her and add various types of food to her bowl. Mom is too busy eating😅.
