We don't normally repair black water but our guys were troopers and have gotten it cleaned with lots of bleach and dawn dish soap. Plus it gave us an opportunity to spray down the engine room so we could get to work on the thru-hulls.
Oh boy, black water leak that boat needs a lot of repair and some good loving. And I think that outboard is about need to be totally replaced. I mean, the lower unit looks new or recently rebuilt, and how's Matt's trip going I went to respond to yalls last video, but it was totally gone
Yes we told the outboard owners to start looking for a replacement engine…. They just hope to extend the life a little bit. We took it down unfortunately! We froze up there … my lips got so chapped in 2.5 days 😩
@@WillFixThat oh man, yea, it's cold up here, and we are supposed to get up to 15 inches by Tuesday night. I would rather be some place warm right now, lol 😆
That would be amazing but nearly every boat needs parts! So we’d be waiting weeks to con’t filming. Yes, it’s a real struggle. Looks like you’re in the Marine industry… does that make sense?
I am thinking working on these neglected large boats would require a LARGE deposit UPFRONT. Owners obviously have not been spending maintenance dollars because perhaps they are broke!

Watching you gives me an appreciation of how HARD that job is and how I'll NEVER question writing the BIG check!
Thanks! It’s not easy! People don’t realize the time it takes sometimes.
Thanks I'll have to watch some more videos
Hopefully you're feeling better 😊
Yup Matt’s back to being his sassy self! Took about 3 wks to get better from the flu I got lucky and didn’t get it.
No rest for the weary! Hope you feel better soon😊
Much better now it took a few weeks.
Hi this is pretty neat you get to see the boat world 🌎🌍😅😅😅
Kroil! Good man Sam! Great post!
Thanks BD hope he sees this episode he is in his 80’s! He said he has another package coming any day.
Get well!! Thank you for another informative video. I need to learn more about marine AC units.
They can be tricky … it’s taken Matt many years.
Heck of a job
YOU DO A GREAT JOB 😊😊😊😊😊 I USED TO REPAIR BOATS 🚢 IN CALIFORNIA
Thanks for the feedback Richard! Not an easy job that’s for sure.
Great way to start my day and also the first day of December…..that Yamaha looked very neglected!
Thanks Tom … engine definitely needs love.
Megohming the compressor and start components on day one is part of a COMPLETE diagnosis and fixing it once correctly.
Hello from Siesta Key Florida
We've been sick for 3 weeks before feeling better and went to the doctor after 2 weeks of it
Ah Bill that sounds like Matt he had the flu for 3 weeks.
Good morning
Hi fatcat!
Matt the one thing I learned is don’t mix friends with business you’ll go broke. Get well soon
Agree … it can be tough servicing friends.
An easy project is never easy. They follow "Murphy Law" 🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣
Exactly Mike when they tell me it will only take an hour … lol it takes 5.
Do you want the cummins diagnostic software? A nexiq link copy and cummins insight is all that's needed.
The searay with the red fluid may not be from the transmission as the zf/hurth transmissions often have as per spec, engine oil in the box
How is the tuner
Haven’t got that far … recently discovered oil in coolant.

@@honeybunbandit1Matt upon arrival they got 6 inches last week … it was way too cold & dry. Not sure what happened this time.
@@WillFixThat oh boy, it's funny because my parents in Minnesota haven't gotten anything, lol
so was it the corrosion or the oil seal lol manny man
Was the seal but corrosion doesn’t help. Will see how long it latest.
@WillFixThat confidence with the wrong diagnosis is something i strive not to do.
Man I don't understand why people buy those big nice boats and don't maintain them regularly.
Because it takes time, money and effort!
Are we going to see the blackwater boat get started ?
Maybe we have to get engine guys to come hook up to it.
I find these videos a little bit choppy, it would be nice if you could follow just one boat per video start to finish in depth 👍
That would be amazing but nearly every boat needs parts! So we’d be waiting weeks to con’t filming. Yes, it’s a real struggle. Looks like you’re in the Marine industry… does that make sense?
Hi, your worker sits on a block brick,,know sits chair?
Not at the boatyard.

Just depends on what you’re comfortable with …. It’s important to keep up with maintenance.
Do they dispense flu shots in your area of Florida..
Yes of course …. If you want one.
Don't you just love karma ??!!!
Well we’d like it better if the situation didn’t happen to begin with.
@@WillFixThat Sadly there is just no pleasing some people .
@@mrbill8542 You are exactly right.
Run away Fast
Run away from which one? 🤣
Please don' t use gunk de-greaser, it pollutes badly, Use Simple greet, cheaper and just as good, best thing is it is biodegradable
Yes simple green is good.
