Even though she knew the senate was corrupt and that there was going to be a war, she still believed in the ideals of the Republic instead of becoming a seperatist. She and the other senators caught on to Palpatine's schemes and tried to do something about it, she helped establish the Rebellion, she believed that there was still good in Anakin, and she gave birth to two kids would finish off what she fought her whole life for.
