V/Line Passenger A66 Locomotive at Bacchus Marsh - Arrival, Departure and shunting

English - V/Line Passenger A class locomotive A66 Streamliner Locomotive - the oldest streamliner locomotive in the world still in regular rostered passenger service. A66 runs Monday to Friday. A morning peak service from Bacchus Marsh to Melbourne Southern Cross and an afternoon peak service to Bacchus Marsh from Melbourne. This presentation features A66 at the very little featured location of Bacchus Marsh and shows A66 arriving and departing Bacchus Marsh with the various shunting movements that are very rarely seen anywhere.

Always been my favourite style of loco. I remember waiting on the platform at Geelong station, watching these orange VLine trains coming through the tunnel from South Geelong and realising how much I love trains. (didn’t think much of the orange livery though, glad they changed that!)

Hello! As a small official informanion for this DIESEL locomotive:
"The A class are a class of diesel locomotives rebuilt from B class locomotives by Clyde Engineering, Rosewater for V/Line in 1984-1985."

Schony747 From what I’ve heard A66 will actually be running services From Southern Cross to Bacchus Marsh and back again when it returns.
Idk if that’s true but that’s what I’ve been told by a friend
