I'd love to see a video showing us the behind-the-scenes of making these outfits! Choosing which outfits you are going to recreate, the shopping process, if you had to make swaps for certain items once they arrived, etc. Lovely video as always, I liked that you included an outfit made with what you already had!
I wonder if a group of creators/ fashion people could start a project to add more body types/ gender identities/ poc to pinterest and flood pinterest with more diversity
Yes! I have a vest like that that’s a hand-me-down from my dad and I love it but idk where I put it when I packed up my winter stuff last year so I’m mildly annoyed lol
I think a size up in everything she wore would look more trendy. The whole idea of the outfits she picked to recreate was that they work because they’re oversized.
These are my favorite videos of yours, they remind me that clothes can look good on any body but also that I don't have to wear "flattering" clothes 24/7
I think this scandi chic (as I would call it) with the white oversized button up, jeans and loafers was my favorite look on you. It just suits you so damn well!
I love a good Recreating Pinterest Outfits (Carrie’s Version) video Also obsessed with your brown hair and those universal standard jeans 😍 literally the perfect fit
The leather outfit with the boots is giving Buffy the Vampire Slayer or Rachel from Friends and I'm living for it. ❤ I would love to see you do a Capsule Wardrobe!
I love the jeans and button up 'coastal grandma' look so much and agree with others that the miniskirt boots and blazer combo is giving big Buffy vibes- love that. And I think that packing a capsule wardrobe to travel is a great idea, makes it so much easier to pack and make outfits. I hate it when I overpack because I have to lug it all around whether I wore it or not.
I have recently started saving pictures of outfits to a pinterest board and it has literally made me feel like i have a whole new wardrobe with the pieces i already own! Would love to see more of these videos :)
I am also in the basics era of my style as well. ❤❤I am also normally drawn to unique, interesting pieces. But recently, have been obsessed with black and white. The first outfit is pretty much my everyday go to running errands outfit. (But with shoes or boots cuz snow)
Those outfits are so good! The skirt outfit was my favorite. Also, the Blazer could be used with the pants in the 4th outfit. I think the first outfit would be better if the vest was more oversized!
The first and last looks on pinterest were super cute and successful because the vest and cardigan were oversized and long. I feel like they need that to pull them off well. The middle looks you did were very cute, the Coastal Grandmother (my personal style) was my favorite. ♥️
Hi I’m from Japan:) I love all the outfits you recreated! Recently I’m also realized that basics are pretty versatile and I need more of them though I love colors and patterns. Hope to see more of your new outfit ideas!
I’d say size up one on the vest, what I follow (personally) is I like a jacket or a vest to cover have my plain, so covering at least half across my chest to give me better definition/fit. LIVING for recreating Pinterest looks! All bodies are good bodies ❤️
hihi, I'm from Iceland and these kinds of outfits are very scandinavian. I love watching your videos and ofc I would relate much more to them if you keep on doing outfit videos like this :) So maybe a future video idea would be trying out Scandinavian fashion :)
My fave was the leather blazer and skirt combo!! You look amazing. Also in my 30s and slowly switching out the majority of my clothes for basics lol. It’s so much easier to make outfits!
Love them all! The first one would be also on point if the vest was oversized and the last one would also be perfect with a longer & oversized cardigan! ❤
I used to really enjoy using ThredUP because they have a tall section and being 5’10”, finding clothes that fit correctly is a struggle. However, I was looking in the app last night and wanted to place an order and I noticed that their shipping has gone up to $11 and they now charge $4 for a restocking fee that gets taken out of your credit/refund. As of now, I’m sticking to Poshmark and going to the actual thrift store but I understand inflation is a thing but I don’t feel like I’m paying secondhand prices anymore which is really unfortunate 😢
I would be interested to see you make a video about women that you're attracted to. As someone who struggles with body image myself, I find it so fascinating that I can look at women and think they're stunning but be so critical of my own. I hope that made sense.
As an older than you viewer…Coastal Granny was a knife to my heart, since those styles look a lot like my wardrobe…😅 Thanks for the tip on thread up, i use them a lot but didn’t know i could shop looks!
1. Carrie, you're probably my favourite comfort channel to watch. You are so genuine and funny and honest! 2. That second inspo pic literally looks JUST like Alexa, or am I crazy?! Lmao
Hi Carrie! Great video! I really loved the leather blazer outfit, that was definitely my favorite I thought it was so cute! I wanted to say on the topic of ThredUp, when it comes to buying pants, namely jeans, from them I have had so much trouble because of their measuring system. I know you can have decent luck with sizing just going off the size you normally wear and familiar brands. But I really appreciate specific measurements for things like waist, inseam, and rise, especially when its a brand I don't know. And the first time I ordered jeans from them I went off of their measurements and they were up to like two inches off. And when it comes to pants miscalculations like that make a huge difference and I ended up having to return them all because their measurements were so poorly done, and its like that with all of their jeans. They're just not very careful with those measurements. Anyway I think it would be really interesting if you did a video trying their pants going off of their measurements, maybe with brands you don't already know well, and then measuring them yourself to see how accurate they are. I think it could also be really helpful to bring some attention so that so they see how that's an issue. I was honestly really surprised at how different the pants were from what I was expecting once I received them.
Heyy Carrie! I've been watching your videos for years now and I wanted to thank you, because you made me appreciate my body so much more! I think we have almost the same body type, it's just that I am waaaay shorter 🤣 You are an amazing person and your content is just wholesome and so inspiring! Again, thank you so much and keep up the good work! Lots of love! ❤
Love outfit #2. I had to laugh so hard when you said you avoided white button downs, I have definitely done this only it was red polo shirts for me. 😆 Oh and love outfit #3
As an actual real life “New England girlie” :) I absolutely would wear/have worn similar outfits to that first one, feels like “chilly walk on a Maine beach in early spring” (except I wouldn’t wear Birkenstocks on the beach, I hate how it feels when they get sand in them lol) ps you are very foxy in the skirt/sweater look
Carrie, thank you for the video, I love your sweater!!! I love how you recreate and make all sizes feel good about ourselves even if we are not a size 2. Sending all my blessings! Love from washington state. I love the styles basics, where did u get your sweater you have on, i have to have it! Lol
I’m loving the more mature style in this video (not in a bad way) just in a “we’re 30 and thriving” way
"30, flirty and thriving" ;)
❤❤❤

Yes the vest would look even better in a bigger size!

Ok but YOUR HAIR! Pls share your Haircare routine, it’s so glossy!
I think this scandi chic (as I would call it) with the white oversized button up, jeans and loafers was my favorite look on you. It just suits you so damn well!
That first outfit is so cute! It is a very popular outfit in the fall in Winnipeg, Canada. Except maybe the clogs would be replaced with blundstones!
I love a good Recreating Pinterest Outfits (Carrie’s Version) video
Also obsessed with your brown hair and those universal standard jeans 😍 literally the perfect fit
And on that note…I would LOVE to see a thrifted/mid-plus size eras tour outfit inspo video because I am stressed and struggling to figure mine out 😅😅

The vest is super cute- if it zips and you still have mobility I would keep it!
Love the country club look... so nice! Totally my style... love a white shirt
Love them all! The first one would be also on point if the vest was oversized and the last one would also be perfect with a longer & oversized cardigan! ❤

As a New Englander, can confirm that the first outfit is very New England girlies in fall. I couldn’t place the familiarity until you said that.
Love these videos! Third look slaps 😍
