Blue Angels performed instead of the Air Force's' Thunderbirds because of better following and the thunderbirds take too much time and fuel just to move to the Travis Air Force base for a show and since the blue angles do shows at the San Francisco Fleet Week nearby in the Bay Area, they decided to participate in the airshow at Travis Air Force Base Blue Angels

My father was stationed at World War II at Travis Air Force Base. I took him every other year when they came to see the Thunderbirds.!!! to go to this is pure enjoyment

I was at the airshow on Saturday. I've got to tell you the sound of the F-22 was so much louder in person than I can crank up the speakers on my computer. I mean LOUD!
