Hundreds audition, but only a select group will secure spots in the Dallas Cowboys Cheerleaders training camp. DCC director Kelli Finglass and head choreographer Judy Trammell oversee the intense audition process and decide which hopefuls will make the team. - Развлечения
I always get chills when I see the vets preform without the rookies. The rookies are fabulous too but the vets are POLISHED ✨

Yes, but they still cut them...😮
I love Kyndall. I understand why she didn’t come back after being cut twice in a row on the last night but she’s always been one of my favorite TCCs
TCC's do you mean DCC's
@@AyeYoTay84 training camp candidate. She never became a dcc
That's sad Kelly done her like that she tried so hard
Also one of my favorites. She SHOULD have made the team.
@@calicofishy awe.. that's sad ...I bet a lot of people believe she should have.
I cannot wrap my brain around the girls that say "I've never done a jump split before". You know where you're going and you know that the jump split is a huge part of your job description, yet you never thought to maybe try it or even perfect it before showing up? That's either laziness or dishonesty.
Jump splits are dangerous if not done properly. Laziness is far from it so
It's not something to try on your own and if you're not part of an organization that does this why would you give it a go?! This comment is pure stupidity.
Well lots of girls have given it a go before coming so...
@@nylotus they also (Kelly and Judy) have said “it’s ok if you haven’t.” They can work on the jump split but I would at least practice the kicks. 🤷🏻♀️ but that’s just me! 🤷🏻♀️
I agree. Disregard the naysayers. Some claim that they are avid dance studio rats so they can have others around when they attempt it. There is ZERO excuse to not doing the split among others BEFORE DCC tryouts. I am also flabbergasted.
This is my first time watching this and I cant get over the "Yes ma'am" so respectful lol
Im sure they were advised in the beginning and in the contract how to address them. But yes very restful.
That's how it is in the South!! That's how I was raised personally.

There is something about Kelli that is extremely intriguing. The way she carries herself, she’s genuine and kind, and she knows exactly what she’s looking for. I don’t think exceptional stage presence can be taught. It can be improved but to be phenomenal is a gift you are born with. Kelli commands respect from the DCCs because they want to work hard for her, impress her and make her happy. I think some staff makes the young ladies perform out of fear.
Kelli keeps it classy. Thats how I have always felt. Monica Aldama the head coach for Navarro College Cheer (and the Netflix show CHEER) carries herself the same way. Has high standards and the kids really respect her and want to win for her too
My favorite phrase from this show is "that can blow out a knee."
I say that at least 3x a week in hiit class! Lol.
What a magnificent stadium. What an awe-inspiring organisation. I enjoyed this series so much. Unlike series such as Dance Moms, there was no backstabbing. It was all about positivity and encouragement. What amazing, amazing examples Kelli and Judy are.
I’m sure there is backstabbing when u have a room full of women lol
I've seen video clips of Dance Moms and it doesn't even come close to DCC: MAKING THE TEAM
Exactly! The big difference for me is that these women know exactly what type of harsh criticism is to be expected, while the kids on dance moms didn’t!
I want this show back.
What happened to it
I could never memorize what this gals have to remember !! It’s insane !! They are amazing
I was literally just watching Gina’s Journey. I was craving fresh DCC
Amy from Season 11 is one I really wish had made the team. Her dedication and passion is very obvious. She handled being cut very maturely.

Jump splits, the kick line and the entrance are things that you would think every serious woman that plans to try out would learn BEFORE training camp.
They're staples.
K but, jump splits aren't something you try on your own in your living room
As an ex NRL cheerleader, let me just say, kick lines and jump splits aren't something you can practice on your own.
Jump splits are dangerous and can cause permanent injury. That's why they practice daily
I really enjoy and respect the young ladies and how hard they work... I'm not a fan of most teams but the DCC have great standards, from dancing to personal lives...❣️
Jackie Bob is likely my most favorite DCC. FLAWLESS !
I would love it if you guys would upload the very first episode of Dallas Cowboys Cheerleaders: Making The Team.
You can watch it on pluto Dallas Cowboys Cheerleaders have there own channel and it shows every season 1 through present
SO sad DCC Making the team will be no longer ☹😭 Has to be my favorite show since season 1. Surprising its been Cancelled, views on these video's are great so I'm thinking it came down to financial decisions and people wanted more money than network was willing to give.
The show isn't ending. It's going to a different channel. My guess is another network offered them more money. Imagine of Bravo got their hands on these ladies lol. They just need to start paying them WAY more!
@@nylotus do you know which channel?? I just got cable (been using Roku) for the purpose of watching it this season!
IT was CMT's highest rated show. It was allegedly cancelled because of the scandal re the DCC exec peeping Tom 3ho took photos as they were undressing and the subsequent multi million dollar payout. Corporations don't want to even POSSIBLY be liable for anything remotely like that.
Samsung TV has all the channels for the cheerleaders. Dallas cowboy cheerleaders.
This is my first time watching this.... they deserve their place wowwww ... working so hard
Kashara is jaw dropping you can’t stop looking at her
The veterans give me the shivers!
I can’t imagine that these girls who know damn well they need to do jump splits haven’t practiced a LOT before the first practice.
Alyssa and Ashton are beyond adorable.
i have watched these so many times i can’t stop!
Wow these girls work hard. I never really respected cheerleaders before watching this.
You've created 'The Stepford Cheerleaders'.
the players have it easy by comparison with these girls . looks like bloody hard work . never lose faith in yourselves . you are very entertaining to watch . meredith is the image of an irish model
An the football players make beyond way more money then these girls I think they only make $500.00 a wk or less 😢
Just a recommendation, but talk to hardcore, battle tested marching band when it comes to field work. The dance element won't be there, but in terms of hitting marks and formations, but marching bands will have great advice. Height, leg length, stride length, marking (hitting verticals and horizontals as well as diagonals, hitting yard lines) are all BIG factors for marching band competition.
I'm so sick of previous marching band members chiming in. These women have been learning complex formations, transitions and timing their entire dance careers. What do you thing dance competitions are? Drills are NOT just a part of marching band. What is challenging is doing it with an intentionally sexy jazz walk where every inch of your body has to be poised as it is on display. I can promise these women are adjusting faster to their stage being the size of a football field than a band member would be able to adjust to all the micro movements these dancers are also doing on top of an effortless smile and facial expressions. I would be happy to watch an episode that features the band or for marching bands to be highlighted for what they do. But be reasonable and remember these women are also operating their body as an instrument and I honestly don't think a marching band trainee is picking up formation choreography any faster.
@@tb564 and yet... they still can't do it. Knowledge is knowledge. It doesn't matter where it comes from.

@@tb564 did you miss the part where I said the dance element wouldn't be there? It was a recommendation for one very specific aspect of the entire performance. Calm down. Nobody said anything critical or disrespectful, so there's nothing to get defensive about. it was just a suggestion... to HELP.

4:59 how cool is that a high school has an indoor field like that. My daughter came home today they had to cancel practice because here in South Florida it's pouring rain and they didn't have the gym today
I love it when Judy says you’re just going to have to concentrate like they aren’t already. Also, why is there so much non-constructive For example, what does being like crisp bacon mean? I hope there is more that got taken away by editing.
There's crisp dancing and there's more of a soft dancing. That's what the bacon thing meant.

Leuk filmpje
There is so much valuable information on RUclips about the really important things the DCC admin is looking for. If I were going to try out I’d make sure I were limber enough to twist into a pretzel, practice the kick line with two friends who just need to lock up and jump up and down with me(Theo don’t even need to know the choreography) and I’d be doing jump splits in boots every day. These girls need to realize that they can’t just be good dancers, they have to be conditioned athletes and not all of them are. Every now and then you’ll see a DCC with a bit of a muffin top and at that point I think, “Hey, I could try out“ 😳🤣 And please research the owners, bigwigs, players and maybe some Dallas cowboy football highlights. You can’t just be a pretty face with a great body. That’ll get you in the door but there’s a lot of pretty faces with great bodies out there, so show up ahead of the game. PREPARE!!! 🏈🏈🏈
Watching this and realized I’m wearing a cowboys shirt lol.
Woohoo
youd think that all the ones trying out would watch the previous seasons of the show to learn the kick line, entrance, and become familiar with their signature dances BEFORE trying out so on the off chance they did make it to training camp they already have at LEAST the kick and entrance down that way theyd have some sort of advantage of all of the other girls. obviously its hard to make it into camp HOWEVER lol at least study EVERY episode minute by minute to see what the judges like and dont like that way youd know what to do and not to do at try outs lol. for any future DCC candidate i pray you see this comment❤️

Terror Alert NYC. Rockstar games and Kojima productions employees are poisoning people on the subway and at forest hills stadium...........
The one thing I never understand about Judy’s instructions during the entrance, is how she always yells “Don’t skip!” When they’re literally skipping..🤔 like if that choreography is not a skip then what is it😂 unless I’ve misunderstood what skipping is my entire life lol. But that footwork they’re doing (not the entire time down the field, just during the part where they swing their arms behind their backs and have their arms straight in the air), is straight up skipping😂🤔 I guess the only difference being with a “normal” skip, you normally bring your knees up.. but it’s still skipping! Idk, someone help me understand😭🤣
What they’re supposed to be doing there is a type of pas de bourre. It’s like a step together step where you step out with the same leg twice and bring the back leg to the front leg. Skipping on the other hand alternates legs and you jump when you’re stepping forward. Hard to explain but RUclips a forward pas de bourre or step-together-step to see what I mean. 😂
@@laurablake8330 I’ve done *SOME* dance and girrlll if THAT is a pas de bouree, that is the lazziieessttt kind I’ve ever seen🤣🤣😳
But I’ll give them the benefit of the doubt because they’re wearing boots lol.
I still think it’s more of a skip (just not bringing your knee up like you do with a typical skip, ya know), but I see what you mean lol.
But Pas de Bouree’s are normally done diagonally (even the “forward” kinds!) so it’s more of a lazy half version of one😅 but I do see what you’re saying lol. I see how it’s SUPPOSED to be a Pas De Bouree.
35:10 why do they wait till the end to teach them this. My daughters have damned for over 15 years and tear competitively and for high school and they usually learn the one thing at a time so teach him how to do the entrance without the arms then add the arms you know what I mean this is the first time they have to be part of five other people
I could never put myself thru this type of try outs unless you totally know you are really good. 😟
it seems questionable to me that the ladies don’t practice the kick line, entrance, or jump split before the training camp. those moves are staples, they are engraved in history.
💗
Just for the fun of it, who is your all time favorite DCC?
Mine is Kristin Holt from 2000. But I also liked Melissa Rycroft, Amy Reese, Ryan Ray, Natalie Woods, and Nicole Bulcher just to name a few.
One thing I would like for CMT to do is to offer all of the seasons and episodes on demand.
Whitney Isleb (sp?), Brooke Sorensen, Cassie, Natalie Woods, Nicole Bulcher, Kashara, Christina, Jinelle, Angela and Emma.
Kashara Garret she retired in 2018, Amy she retired in 2019, Maddie she retired in 2020, Gina she retired in 2021, Lexi she retired in 2021, Lacey she retired in 2018, Rachel W, Caroline, Jenna, Jinelle, Alexis,
Nicole (point of triangle), Mia, Sydney and Jenna
I could also add Maddie M., Alexis Peterson, Christina Parker, Chelsea Chaney, and Rachel W. And there would also be Leigh Gilbreath, Angela Sapolio and Sarah Shahi from before the MTT era.
For sure maddie, Gina, Kashara, and Kat
How many times are you going to post this?
I never understood why these girls couldn't or were unfamiliar with the cheerleaders entering the field. Do they not watch them on TV or on the field. Why don't they practice something like this before they even try out? And, I don't understand how some of the girls even make the team. They did a lousy job in training camp and still made the squad. I am not saying their are not extremely talented. The ones that can't even take direction. Like the girl who went to the tanning bed right before taking pictures. Who does that? I sure miss the show. I watched every episode of every season. This is a huge dream for the girls. Props to the ones that have the power to stay over 5 years. Sydney Durso was one of my favorites next to Brooke (Nix), and Maddie.

I kinda have ptsd or something when I watch kick lines. They really do wind you. And we used to get punished when we made mistakes by kicking tons of laps around the football track. I always thought I would die one day. If someone ever tried to get me to kick in a mask, I’d quit immediately. Just being able to do the splits and stretch your chin to your heel doesn’t always translate to high kicks. There is some serious effort to getting your foot up there and keeping it up. Once you get it it’s like riding a bike but to get there is a chore. We entered the field the same way basically. It’s easier, imo, to figure out how wide of step you need to take and then just making it a body memory, like any other dance step. When you think about it like marching it messes you up.
It's so weird how they showed a clip of the Dallas skyline at 2:34:00(ish) but the stadium is in Arlington and they likely wouldn't have driven by the Dallas skyline at all
