Watched The Other Woman last night & as soon as this song came on... It took my breath away! But this song for me has a lot to do with my relationship with Christ. I remember when I finally let go of my 2 failed marriages, it was just like that scene when she threw her rings into the ocean. The people that God had in my life during those dark yet inspiring times, were my angels. Its not about a man anymore for me. Although I know God has an amazing man out there, while He is preparing both of us, I am learning in this season of my life... Jesus' love never fails. His love never leaves me. I've never really been a religious person, spiritual yes, but not religious. Literally ever since I was a child every church that I went to made me feel like a leper. The only church I've been in recently was one in France during a school trip. Other than that I haven't been to a church in about 7 maybe 8 years. We were so close I loved him so much. 5 months later I lost my first child at 11 weeks pregnant and I also suffer from infertility so conceiving was hard and trying again is even harder I haven’t been able to get pregnant again now for a year. When I first heard The Sun Is Rising it clicked with me instantly. There have been times that I felt weak and bad about myself. It was never to do with men. What's helped me to feel stronger and more confident is the love and support of others. People make mistakes nobody's perfect, we learn from our experiences and move forward.

I heard this song tonight when I went to see The Other Woman and I gotta say, I had a revelation. My boyfriend/fiance of three and a half years ended things with me randomly about a month ago, right before our college graduation and when we were planning on starting the rest of our lives together. He has become a completely different person, and he makes me feel like the most worthless person in the world now. This is someone I thought truly cared for me and loved me, and I've just been feeling so down about myself since then and feel like I will never overcome this. But the lyrics of this song helped me to realize that I can get through this, and although it will still be hard for a long, LONG time, I just have to hope that things will get better and that I will hopefully find the truly right guy for me. I thought I found him, but I guess I have to wait a little longer...

The movie "the other woman" brought me here as well.....my life is a turmoil everyday I have to battle with my mother's mental illness, my father's disease, my husband's addiction, my son's disability, my brother's problems, among many other things. I am not a religious person either, but I believe deeply in God, I thank him for allowing me to have two amazing sons whom without, I don't think I can make it, they are my "sun rising" every day. God has his reasons for choosing the life he did for me, and I don't judge him. I thank him for allowing me to be kind of heart regardless of all the sorrow in my life. Watched The Other Woman last night & as soon as this song came on... It took my breath away! But this song for me has a lot to do with my relationship with Christ. I remember when I finally let go of my 2 failed marriages, it was just like that scene when she threw her rings into the ocean. The people that God had in my life during those dark yet inspiring times, were my angels. Its not about a man anymore for me. Although I know God has an amazing man out there, while He is preparing both of us, I am learning in this season of my life... Jesus' love never fails. His love never leaves me. His love never rejects me. His love never abandons me. His love is all we need. Then and only then can we see the sun rising in our hearts & lives!

I've never really been a religious person, spiritual yes, but not religious. Literally ever since I was a child every church that I went to made me feel like a leper. The only church I've been in recently was one in France during a school trip. Other than that I haven't been to a church in about 7 maybe 8 years. All because I have always felt like an outsider in every single one. What I do know is that Britt Nicole and her songs are the only thing that have made me feel. Like when you get that feeling that for some reason makes you want to cry but you're not sad.

I heard this song tonight when I went to see The Other Woman and I gotta say, I had a revelation. My boyfriend/fiance of three and a half years ended things with me randomly about a month ago, right before our college graduation and when we were planning on starting the rest of our lives together. He has become a completely different person, and he makes me feel like the most worthless person in the world now. This is someone I thought truly cared for me and loved me, and I've just been feeling so down about myself since then and feel like I will never overcome this. But the lyrics of this song helped me to realize that I can get through this, and although it will still be hard for a long, LONG time, I just have to hope that things will get better and that I will hopefully find the truly right guy for me.
