Fight Club - A Style Review (the Dressing Gown is STILL Available)

In this video we are taking a closer look at the costumes of Fight Club. Directed by David Fincher, based on the book by Chuck Palahniuk starring Brad Pitt & Edward Norton. The Costume Designer was Michael Kaplan.
Can we learn anything from Tyler Durden’s look and how would you go about getting it? What pieces are still available to buy and why are these pieces so unique?

more info about the jacket: "I'm a member of the filmjackets forum and we all worked to find out the original maker but couldn't work it out. The original jacket we believe according to Michael Kaplan was found in a thrift shop, but dyed and redesigned, adding the top stitching to make it look like this and make it vintage looking as it was originally just a normal jacket, although not sure of the colour. And then Jonathan A Logan just copied that design making the jackets in the film. So an original that actually looks like this doesn't exist, it was just created for the film, if that makes sense." The bathrobe turned up in a episode in Frasier, it was worn by Jane Leeves who played the character Daphne. I don’t know if the episode was before or after Fight Clubs release though. I recently watched all the Frasier series (Big fan) and when I saw the bathrobe I immediately recognised it, Would be great to find out how this happened. Most of the iconic cloths can be purchased now, obviously replicas. My favourites were the tracksuit bottoms and boots (Which can be purchased), a third leather jacket was in a short clip, Pitt took it off before giving Tyler Durden’s famous speech in the basement of Lou’s tavern.🥊💪
