Thank you for sharing this. My 13yr old son has been diagnosed with Osteosarcoma and has just started chemo. I am inspired with your story and hope to be strong and get my son through this.

Thank you for sharing your story. My nephew will be having this done next month. This is inspirational and it helps to see others who have had this procedure, think it was the right choice, and are doing well.

So for a couple of days I have felt knee pain which gets worse at night. I wonder if this could be a cause. Hope not, I don’t want to lose my leg.

Might be just a future knee repacement, like needing a hip replacement.

@@gordanazakula5669 what? what is it? as for the knee pain, Im fine now I think it was just due to long periods of minor strenuous use, and then beginning exercise.

I don't know if any body else is asking this question I think it's the most important question why are these little kids getting tumors and how can we prevent it doctors don't answer this question that's how they make money the organizations they work for get millions of dollars to try to cure it when we should try to prevent it that's what's most important however all they care about is the money billions and billions of dollars we should be asking who owns these companies I bet they are filthy rich I cry for these poor kids and these people will exploit them to the end

It’s pure greed. Completely unacceptable that children battling cancer get only 4% funding of all the money the US has. One person could sell his/her yacht and profoundly impact the advances we make with this disease.
      Absolute insanity.
