Crossbow are bad in ground battle but they are dominating at tower battle
No there are 800 more bows
They are dominating if you protect them
Think nobody expected this outcome
The fire rate for arabian bowmen is quite high. The crossbows got high damage and instashot the bowmen but there is some inefficiency there since its a overkill. Crossbowmens hp isnt terrebly high though compared to the amount of arrows it takes to bring them down. 800extra arab bowmen are a lot in this situation
I mean they put 1300 against 2100.
It was sure that they will Lose. Its took to long time to shoot

Rate of fire matters with low Armor, but The Crossbowman is much better against Armoured targets like Knights

while crossbow 99g if you buy everything, but half the cost is just the crossbow,which is VERY expensive compared how cheap it is to produce
They're the only real defence against slow moving armored infantry which many of the bots attack you with. Your other options are making an insane amount of regular archers, stonethrowers, or fire throwers, or balista. I don't like balista for defense because they need to be on the ground in front of your walls. They're too exposed.
crossbow production is quite slow and producing all equipment each crossbowman will cost about 60 gold, since you could just sell the crossbows and leather armors.
@@juniorcosta4784 selling produced items is around 35-40 gold.
Producing equipment is very cheap
@@Devit42 Yes, but time is money, so europeans units aren't that cheap. but i agree that crossbowmen are better and usually cheaper but i like arabian bowman too, it is also a usable unit to deal with slaves, monks or tunnelers since you have enough economy to buy them lol (euro archer also can make it but a little worse).

Sure, arabian has more dps & health but their cost being nearly double compared to directly buying weapons is too much.

You seem to forget that there are 800 more archers than crossbowman, also the arab archers are way more expencive
Dont forget the range while 1 crossbow shooting 3 arab shoot back
@@Minibuh Cross bow costs by making it..Count wood, workers', time, armour, etc.. These parameters make crossbow expensive🫰😁
@@Minibuh I mean technically crossbow men are a lot more expensive. You need 3 different resources and time to train them. While you just need a really good economy and high population to mass produce Arabian Archers.
@@mee091000 not really, by the time you have a strong enough economy to afford all the archers you can already have made like 4 fletchers and you could just buy the harnesses caus they are super cheap so you dont even need the buildings for those

Crossbowmen are better. It's basically math 1300 of them still killed 1658 Arabians. In an evenly numbered battle the crossbowmen would have won.
But they are not as mobile.

My favorite tower combo is 10 crossbows, 15 Arabian archers, fire brazier, and a ballista.

basically just use crossbows is your enemy is someone that uses knight/arabian knight armored troops. They shred through it while regular arechre/arabian archers do barely anything. I like to basically have 5 crossbows on every tower and fill all the rest of the space with regular archers and iv yet to have anything reach anywhere near me, and thats without building any walls, waste of stone. Enough towers stacked with archers/crossbows surrounding your area and your fine
crossbowmen have massive damage but slow, while Arabian archer is much faster and high rate of fire

Crossbow actually have the advantage, but due to slow reload, they lost.
Crossbowman are strong enough to defending your fortress/castle,but weak without shield/backup when you send them to attacking your enemies castle,and also weak when fight againts wandering horse archer
Crossbowmen are more deadly but their can only reach short distance target plus arabian bowmen are no joke, they are just as good as horse archers.

a fair comparison would be to face them against lets say 500 swordmen one by one and see the outcome then. crossbows would definetily win

Crossbows are Strong, but slow. They are VERY effektiv against enemies with lot hp. Archer are one shot and an very ineffective target for crossbows

Speed beats power
Crossbow is best against heavy units and longbow are best against archer. Arabic short bows are better for protecting against slaves and spearmen/monke do to their fire rate
arabian archer can survive a crossbow shot with just a little bit of health
