- Author Glennon Doyle's best-selling memoir, "Untamed," is being adapted for TV, and Glennon explained how Sarah Paulson was her first and only choice to play her. She was scared to death to ask and ended up writing a long "love letter" to the Emmy winner to ask her to be in the series. Glennon also opened up about her recent relapse with bulimia and how her wife, Abby Wambach, recently re-proposed to her.

I absolutely wept when G shared about her relapse but my tears were not bc of her relapse - although I'm so sad she experienced that - I cried because of her honesty. By being vulnerable and speaking her truth she makes space for each of us to speak our own truth.. and bring our shame and hurt to the surface for help and healing.. Love you G, and thank you Ellen.❤️

I'm going to watch this TV-show. And Sarah Paulson is a huge favorite of mine.
If the next landing seems to far, every step of the stairs can act as a landing to rest on if you need it to be. Being at step 3 for a while still feels amazing after rock bottom and you are allowed to be proud that you're there instead of beating yourself up that you're not climbing fast enough.

I think Ellen and her wife can appreciate this narrative about striving through relapse. Whether it's binging and purging, alcohol or other things, aside from the addictive properties, our relationship with addiction is another consideration in preparation to take back our lives.
Ellen can play a complex drama character such as a politician or a matriarch, who can be ruthless as well as warm and loving.

I do not dislike Glennon but I do dislike her overuse of the question, "right?" at the end of so many of her declarative sentences. Perhaps it is just an unintentional vocal tick (habit) but it comes across as somewhat condescending as it constantly creates a false sense of agreement with her audiences who do not have the voice to actually answer the question she poses. Glennon, you don't need our validation; go with the "I said what I said!" motto and lose the "right?".
