I was going to make a comment, but I'm just going to thumbs up this one. Do what makes you happy Harry, sometimes its so refreshing to accept something didn't go your way. You can always come back, but a break without the heavy weight of expectations on your shoulders is nice to have.

Hey man, just wanted to let you know that you have helped a lot in my career. Your teaching style is perfect for me. Just now I started a new job where the codebase is in Typescript and my first thought was "well, it's time to get back to Harry's channel and learn what the heck those Generics are" - and I understood straight away!
Anyway, what I'm trying to say is that your videos do have impact. PLEASE keep making them just as YOU want and when you feel like it. Otherwise, I think that the channel will lose some of the magic.

Just off the record. I watch you every night while working/studying stuff. I listen to your advice on career stuff and trajectories to pursue. But do what you feel is right for you. You did the right thing. Please do only the thing that matter for you. Hunting for clicks sunk the quality. So you have such a talent to explain complicated thing in an entertained easy way. That is the motivation I clicked the abo. One video a month I'm perfectly fine with. If you obmid on month. I don't care. Because it's a Harry Wolf video that will matter... And I don't like to see you burned down by silly youtube rules...

I kinda noticed you tried too hard for earning click from that "Rust is killing Javascript" video. RUclips is a hard business. You have to upload consistently. Sometimes you just do not have enough material to go on. That is the common problem. Normal people cannot possibly produce useful tech video every few days.
unless you intentionally do clickbaits and create controversial topics. Good for you to realize that. happy new year
this video is just a cliche RUclipsr burn out video too though, and your next video has the same clickbait thumbnail and hype topic as a million others have.
