Yes and wasn’t his fault. U can see new man’s ass end kick out as soon as he blocked blaney because of the quick block it kicked out and blaney touched him before he straightened it up. Just racing for the biggest win of the yr
Hamlin was literally doing donuts immediately after the race, I wouldn't call that care. You certainly don't see that from any driver after a huge crash in F1.
@@rohanvandenakker5411 cause hamlin didnt know newman crashed that bad he was looking out the front windshield cause he was battling Blaney he had no idea Newman got airborne
@@SESKE_5 He knew there was a big crash, it's as big as they come. Doing donuts in wake of a crash like is just disrespectful and you don't see it elsewhere.
I knew was bad, but after the first replay as a Newman fan for 10 years, I burst into tears. That night fucked me up. Never looked at the races the same. Can't imagine how all the true diehard dale Sr fans felt.
I can answer how I felt as a Dale Earnhardt fan. Concern and fear that he wouldn't make it, especially the shot of the ambulance leaving. Think God he was able to walk out of the hospital.
It must be difficult to win a race like this. All the excitement just killed. Even though you want to be happy you’ll feel guilty. And it’s not a moment you can get back.
corey was shocked you could tell he thought he was just being treated at the infeild care center and no one told him yet he was headed straight to the hospital denney wanted nothing to do with that win he looked like he wanted to hurry the interview up and head to the hospital where Ryan was serious concern vibe coming of from him could tell blaney felt awful
In the crash video you can see the top of the window rollbar is crushed. Ryan actually has the car in his garage and he said his seat headrest was impacted by Lajoie's car
I think a lot of spectators forget that drafting half a dozen cars just a few inches apart isn't an exact science. If one car rubs the near side just a bit he pulls the aerodynamics out of balance, or if one car just "touches" the back of the car in front, the whole pack of cars is out of control. These guys have so many variables that can change in an instant, all of a sudden he has to catch the car before it is totally gone and he's steering out the side window. About three heart beats after that, he's just a passenger until all the dust settles. Some days end better than others. I grew up with a dad that was a bush pilot in Alaska back in the 1950s. He would tell me, "any landing you can walk away from is a good landing." Ryan may not have walked right away but he was walking with his girls a whole lot sooner than anyone expected. That made for a pretty good day.
You can tell in Ryan Blaneys voice he was so worried
I know he felt so terrible. I would to though. Even though it wasn't really on propose. With these cars one move can change everything.

He supposed to it was his fucking fault
He supposed to it was his fucking fault
You can tell all 3 drivers genuinely care for this guy. Obviously Ryan Blaney has no intention for this to even take place.
Blaney looks sus as hell

@@SESKE_5 Yeah kinda my point, when a driver is hospitalised in F1, you don't see drivers doing donuts as another is fighting for his life.

Only difference is Ryan made it out so you have better pal
Man I just about lost my shit when it happened. Couldn't sleep for 2 days. Newman is a trooper for sure

The racing community gets very small when things like this happen we all come together

"where'd I hit 'im at, bob?" oof, i bet he felt really shocked after the answer.

Ryan blaney what the hell men you draft newman hard
It wasn't even his fault. Newman was trying to block Blaney and it just so happen newman got turned into the wall
It wasn't his fault newman tried to block and got loose
