My cover of this waltz is inspired mainly by Dana Roze from Syberia: The World Before, Arthur Rubinstein, and a bit of Traum, and the idea of using inner voices inspired by Cyprien Katsaris. Here's the score (last page) of the inner voices I used ruclips.net/user/postUgkxUU-Vae1IH5kYveihNlcpOo548_4ki3wV And sorry my head kept popping up... bad camera angle.
no way, i was just practicing this piece 2 minutes ago. the gods have spoken. beautiful playing man, the ornaments sound really good and the main arpeggio part sounds really melancholic, but pretty
Covering all the Chopin staples, I see! This was one of my signature pieces when I was growing up - I'm sure everyone around me was sick to death of it 😅 But I really enjoyed the simplicity of your performance (Very Rubinstein!)
Thanks a lot! This is my first time learning/playing it, but I know it's repetitive and probably overplayed so I tried to make it more unique. And yeah, Rubinstein's one of my inspirations for this
Wow, this is insanely impressive! Im currently learning piano and I have one question, should I learn sheet music? Im conflicted if I should keep learning by ear or actually learn to read.
Hey there I'm a big fan beautiful performance❤ I was wondering I'm currently preparing for a recital And I have so far prepared these pieces: bethoven appasionata (full sonata) Chopin ballade no 2 Chopin scherzo no 1 Liszt mazzepa Do u think I should add another piece or play something different or modern???(for context im 17 years old and i have been playing piano for 5 years and i learned to play in a russian music scool )
you need to use a better edition with better fingerings such as the cortot edition. also, shame on your teacher for not teaching you how to play the bass properly. I'd recommend to study the recordings of Hofmann, Cortot, and Rachmaninoff to hear how it's done.

Wow, this is insanely impressive! Im currently learning piano and I have one question, should I learn sheet music? Im conflicted if I should keep learning by ear or actually learn to read.
Thanks! Yes, it's better to know another way to learn music. Reading notes is important for classical music
Hey there I'm a big fan beautiful performance❤
I was wondering
I'm currently preparing for a recital
And I have so far prepared these pieces:
bethoven appasionata (full sonata)
Chopin ballade no 2
Chopin scherzo no 1
Liszt mazzepa
Do u think I should add another piece or play something different or modern???(for context im 17 years old and i have been playing piano for 5 years and i learned to play in a russian music scool )
Those are crazy pieces! I think it's amazing enough already
Dang, I practicing 6 years on Russian musical school, but my hardest yet is Posthumous Polonaise in B Flat Major
Great waltz... But you should use a more nostalgic colour for it. It is more similar with the piece's style.
Thanks. I was debating whether to try blue-grey or just make the whole op. 64 my classic flaming colors but ended up choosing this
🎧🎹💫
Nice :))

I self-learned this... If it works, it works (and it does, even if my fingering is weird)
