Stuart, the thing I admire about your songs most, is they are theologically sound. So many "worship" leaders right fluff songs, that if you change the name of God to your boyfriend or girlfriend, you honestly couldnt tell the difference. Thanks for honoring the Lord with Gospel centered, biblical music.
Come, people of the Risen King Who delight to bring Him praise Come all and tune your hearts to sing To the Morning Star of grace From the shifting shadows of the earth We will lift our eyes to Him Where steady arms of mercy reach To gather children in Rejoice, Rejoice Let every tongue rejoice One heart, one voice O Church of Christ, rejoice Come, those whose joy is morning sun And those weeping through the night Come, those who tell of battles won And those struggling in the fight For His perfect love will never change And His mercies never cease But follow us through all our days With the certain hope of peace Come, young and old from every land Men and women of the faith Come, those with full or empty hands Find the riches of His grace Over all the world, His people sing Shore to shore we hear them call The Truth that cries through every age "Our God is all in all"
Very fond memories of when you and your band came to St Lukes Ramsgate. Brilliant night. You always touch the heartbeat of God. Thank you. May God continue to bless your ministry.
Such a powerful, God-honoring song. Why aren't more churches singing songs like this one? If you want a contemporary service, there are so many better options for music than what's currently popular
I think the best comparison is Holy is the Lord by Chris Tomlin since there's a good few lines that match up and this song here is just orders of magnitude better.
I absolutely love the music that is created through you. The celtic undertones that run through a lot of it. Your lyrics are solid and the music is so beautiful. Many of your songs are my all time favourites. As a priest's wife I have been the "informal" worship leader for 30 years. Your music has touched my life and my ministry. Bless you!!!
This song is a stirring call to worship the risen King and to rejoice in the God of our salvation. May God bless our brother Stuart Townend for his faithful writing of lyrics as a gift to the church worldwide. Our church in Louisville, Kentucky will soon be learning this song and using it in worship. To God be all the glory. Thank you Stuart for your tender heart that receives these songs of praise.

I never knew that a person could compose hymns such as powerful as those patriarchs back then. So lovely hearing this one and the many songs Stuart composed.
please, can someone upload "come ,see this glorious light"man That song always keeps me in the light in those times of darkness!!God Bless Stuart Townend with the Lord's abundance of blessings!!Amen!!!
@GregV55 The melodica is a Hohner brand, you can see that on the upper part near the mouthpiece in a few closeups of the man playing it. Hohner has them listed on their website.
@llllretchllll I agree with your comment and would also encourage Stuart Townend to continue to bless the church with his wonderful lyrics and songs. To God be the glory and the praise, as the church is blessed immensely through these songs we have from Stuart.
Praise God that Stuart and Keith Getty would not let the PCUSA change the words to "In Christ Alone" to "The love of God was glorified" instead of the more powerful and sound, "THE WRATH OF GOD WAS SATISFIED." It's because of what Jesus did that, "We are not appointed unto wrath."

you should try a listen to this new singer's new single
Matthew Foo, You Will Be
@tomyep Bit of a harsh way of putting it, but I agree! :P although I must admit I prefer the Getty version! Interesting take on it though...
Much prefer Stuart singing this wonderful song than Kristyn Getty.
@tomyep Bit of a harsh way of putting it, but I agree :P
who's the drummer here?
