What do they do with the drag chute? Real it back in or install another. Is it a replacement cartridge kind of thing?

The chute is jettisoned after landing
A new pre packed chute is installed
Inspecting and re-packing a chute is done back at base and is quite a process

B-52s have not been used much in actual warfare since Vietnam. They were used for ~1 month in the Gulf War and then occasionally in Iraq/Afghanistan in the 2000s.
