Great game! I'm German, but my heart was with Latvia from the start this time (we needed a win or a point from Slovakia to be sure of being in the top four). And oh my goodness... I wasn't prepared to be so entertained... haha. Big respect to the goalkeepers and a huge thank you for this great game, Latvia. This is why we all love ice hockey.

Gudlevskis was dead after the last penatly not even energy left to celebrate. Both goalies going trough cramps, shows how intense this game was and both goalies played on the edge what their bodys where capable of.

@Crimson19977 usa won against Kazakhstan very dominantly this year with 10 to 1 or 2. Latvia this year only scored 2 goals against Kazakhstan. Last year they scored a lot against Kazakhstan. So this is what Latvia will have to play against this time, a team that can score so much against Kazakhstan

Latvians fully deserve the win. Slovaks fumbled a LOT. I cant believe how our team cant score during 3 powerplays in 1st period. It's getting ridiculous

P.S Slovakia didn't lose in regular time also because of their goalkeeper. Both goalies were playing on top level.

параллелно был матч Канада - Швейцария. Глянул минуту и понял, в баню их, реальные эмоции в тот вечер были на другом льду. Болел за Латвию.
