As much as I love this trailer, it's so difficult to come back to it. So much wasted potential, so much scrapped from the game. It just saddens me.
That's what happens when a game is rushed, I can only imagine the pain the devs had when scrapping so much to release this game on time, it still has potential, but I agree, it could have been so much better. Hopefully the DLC is better.

Breakdown: This is a remix of not only Crumbling Dreams, Ballora's Theme and music box that plays in the Ballora Gallery in Sister Location, but it is also a remix of Watch Your 6, the music during the Private Room part of Sister Location, which by association (as there is no one else during this part of the game, this is not referring to Custom Night) is Ennard's Theme. The Music Box melody at the end is the Toreador March from back in FNAF 1, the iconic Music box tune that plays when the power runs out and when Freddy is standing at the door, menacingly, primed to attack. It seems that Not only there are reminders of Ballora (the leading melody in the trailer), who was theorized to be possessed by William's wife, Ennard (the main bassline), who was possessed by part of Elizabeth (at some point) and the rest of the Sister Location animatronics, as well as having direct ties with Michael, using him as a body at the end of Sister Location, and lastly the core 4 animatronics (FNAF 1 Freddy at least). If not the core 4, then maybe it's just the sort of main FNAF melody, as it is so recognizable in the FNAF franchise.
It's also got hints of Venta Black

Also in older stereos there was _occasionally_ a dial that seemed to quite down the vocals and if they vocals were quite enough completely silence them

I wish the game was as mysterious as I thought it would be. Still good even though it isn't nearly as scary as the others.
What comes in my mind is like this music is like it's far than a music for security breach, but it's more like a music for a ghost movie trailer, like the trailer plays with this music as the character is entering and exploring an old, abandoned house that was haunted

Back when I thought it was gonna get real dark and gritty... Unfortunately it was very safe for a horror title. It didn't have to get bloody or anything, just thrilling and uncomfortable enough to be scary.
