I incorrectly stated Ajax’s DMG boost for his A5 is triggered by his ultimate ability, Destructive Breath. It is actually triggered by his passive, Thunder Strike. This is triggered 25% of the time by the time you have him A5, which makes the DMG boost uptime from the A5 extremely high.
I can confirm that Kigiri's 'rewording' was just that. He already worked that way, I used my soulstones to take him to A3 before the patch after you mentioned it, and his damage output did not change after the patch.

did it help you clear any uncleared stages or get you to a higher tier chest from gb1/2? if not, then it was not a good choice. But if it did help you advance in some area of the game, then it was a good choice.
In just under a year ive had two legendary stones and two unpolished. Legendary both went into iovar and i put one unpolished into hex to get to a3. The other im sitting on for now. Great video!
Great video, Fasti! I'm like you, I usually tell people to be very, very sure before they spend their soulstones. I pulled one a few weeks ago (unpolished) and I'm pretty sure I'm going to put it into Ymiret but I haven't yet. Mostly because there is no where I use him that it will make a huge difference yet. If a new hero comes and I end up needing that soulstone, I'll be happy I saved it. Being patient and thinking things through is the best advice to give when it comes to these rare resources.

I am so impressed that you listed the A1 of Dassomi. Although not an “exciting” choice, I can’t believe what a difference it made for me in GB2. Placed properly, Dassomi makes the poison phase a nonissue.
I pulled my first ever soulstone (regular or unpolished) on Monday. I got an unpolished from NM3, and then I immediately got an unpolished from NM4. I narrowed my options down to Ajax, Silas, or Kigiri, all of which were A0. After careful consideration I used them both on Ajax. Then on Tuesday I got ANOTHER unpolished soulstone. If I had've known I was going to get another one so soon, I would have used all three on Kigiri. That being said, I felt like Silas was the best option at that point for my progression, so I used the third one on him. Anyway, 3 unpolished soul stones in two days was pretty wild.

I used one to A1 Alistair and at 140k held off as turning my A1 Kigiri, Twlya or Arrogance upwards won't do much for me. Even A3 Hex to A5 won't move my needle. Good video! I now feel vindicated that it was smart of me to use all 3 of my polished Legendary soulstones on my King Harz awakings. Now I just need to use 1 more on him and I'll be competing with those MAD guild members!
Thanks for the breakdown. With having 120k + GB2 so I guess kind of end game, and don’t really care much about gvg at the moment I think I’ll save. I have Ymiret at A1 but like you said if dumping into him isn’t going to progress me anywhere best to just save for now 😊
36:27 just to add, a3 hex paired with sutra can further extend that duration to around 1 minute and 30 seconds. i heard form my guildmates that his a5 with sutra is even crazier with 2 minutes of ulting. with proper rage management with hollow or elowyn plus laurel, you can have infinite uptime even at a3 and no sutra
That is incorrect. The extension is capped at 30 extra second. It is not related to sutra. You will just do more damage in 1min5sec with sutra than without
I have yet to get an unpolished soulstone. I did get a regular soulstone from the GB4 chest today (that makes 3 total that I've gotten in almost 400 days). I used that on Ingrid to get her to A1. If I get the unpolished stone it will be SO tempting to put it on my Boreas because he's A4 - the completionist in me wants him at A5. However, I'll likely use it to A1 Ajax.

I’m one of the only people in my guild who HASN’T gotten one. And like I said, we all now get 2 guaranteed for free from the odyssey quests and the gear dungeon clear rewards

So I have Ymerit, and when I pulled him I sunk my so far one and only soul stone into him - this was way before the unpolished stones, of course. I also have my champion reset tome. Should I bust Ymerit down, get the "super" soul stone back, and use an unpolished, once I get one?
Somewhat unrelated I recently got Ajax in a 1+1 and was sad to see there’s no cinematic when you pull a new hero this way. He, then praetus, have been my most wanted so it was awesome and anti climactic at the same time.
Tbh, since I play the game, so about 390 days, I got only 2 legendary souls tones... Since the introduced the un polished ones, I got 2 in the first week from guild boss.. So they are definetely more common

The more often we get these, the more disappointing the occasional dupe pulls will be. That being said, somewhere in the middle would be cool. Got myself only one so far, we'll see how it goes further.
@@pallorka Maybe it can feel that way for people with 10-15 thousand summons or more, but for me with 5.7 thousand summons, I would be happy for any dupes as I don't have a single A5 hero, even then, I would happily sell my excess heroes to get the legendary coins to buy some soulstone from the shop like Khamet or Setram etc. Even if the drop rate is 2 per month (which would be fairly generous from moonton), off the top of my head I need 30 for my ancient exclusives and limited sumonning heroes, another 50 for my top tier ordinary summon pool heroes, which is well over several years of gameplay. Regarding the law of diminishing returns, I also think its not applicable as with the current update rate of the game we are getting a new hero almost every month, if you can pull 5 SS per additional hero in the game to keep up with it, then the law of diminishing return applies, if you get less than 5 SS, everythings good.

Off the top of my head I need around 30 for ancient exclusives and limited summon heroes, with another 50 for the top tier heroes, so don't worry, you won't feel unhappy for a long time :)

Nyx A3 is A LOT more important than A5 and she made overlord EASY in anti-air and aoe arena.( had her A2 and used the unpolished soul stone for the A3 ) Also hex can be a super star in GB2 but you need high awakenings.
You misspoke on Disami, the dispell happens when above 50% hp and both the regular heal over time and the potent dispell, the potent just dispels/heals twice as fast. So, I think an unpolished for Progression won’t make a good enough difference on Desami.
I am kinda new to the game but i will use all of mine on Ajax he is my main dps on everything. And you misspoke on Ajax A5 its not the Ult he gets the dmg boost from its his other ability so if you are lucky you can have the dmg boost up all the time
In month i go from A0 Ymrit to A3 i get from this event another npolished so i invest in A3 silas :) im not sure if i should reset ymrit because im using him in many of areas and he is a beast.
Alistair is slightly more viable if you've got Jeera A1 ripping those radiant erosion stacks away but it would be way, way, way down the line on my priority list
yes good point. pretty niche and endgame but that will be big for some people. but a lot of those people will already have 120k or already be well on their way
Since release of game have not gotten 1 soul stone LONG time ago (was saving it for Torodor or other worthy lord only have gotten a few aracha and twinfiend and one venoma) but pulled Ingrid and it went straight to her have not got a unpolished yet (killed nm3 and 4 daily) thinking about using awarded soulstones on a2 ajax or maybe a3 zilitu
I’m really stuck between using my 2 unpolished stones on either getting A5 lust or A3 alistair or A5 Silas, (I don’t have arrogance, pope or tordor but I do have vierna and aracha)
none make sense ( lust need Arro to be worth it , alistar A1 is enough , Silas a3 is enough since you don't have a proper nightmare team to use his A5 )
depends on what content you need to push through. I would say none of this is necessary and would advice to save this. If you feel determined to do one tho, A5 silas will help you in the most places
I have gotten 1 Unpolished soul stone and used it immediately on Arrogance to make him A5. I also have 2 legendary soul stones waiting for ancient exclusive lord. which took me almost to 50k blood on NM4. This is also with 2 epic lords' bonus don't have any nightmare or piercer lord legendries. and 1 invig set. Current record is 49,628.

Him A5 plus Tywla A1 help my tremendously. Plus, I don't pull shards very often. I am currently hording Ancient Shards for a good banner for exclusive lords. But I do understand your points but based on my account it was needed. Alot of your points on A3 or A5 champs which I only have 2 A5 champs now Arrogance and Alaura. So, for early game and even some mid game players these points don't matter, even for people that don't spend and summon alot.

I used Arrogance, Lust, Twyla, Wrath, Silas, Hex, Luneria, Hollow, Laurel, Dolores. and the only champ that has an invig set is Laurel and it is a trash set but since you pull her out it doesn't matter. I need 1 more gold chunk for Hollow to have a very good Invig set. But Love your videos always watch everyone for help.

i made it very clear the very few heroes I thought were worthy. I then broke down every other hero that could potentially be considered. imo, they should only be used on Ajax or Ymiret unless you are impatient and can use them on someone else to guarantee a major progression boost
Ajax a3 or kigiri a3.. decisions decisions... Just dont know if kigiri will help me get 120k in semra, currently struggling with the poison phase when getting to 80k and if I get past it the slam kills most of my dps in the next stage. Is there a way to get 120k by just doing more dmg between each phase or is the only way to get to the next poison phase? Phase 2 is currently a non issue so Kigiri might not be my answer.
Second awakening is an enormous dmg boost on some heroes. But ye alike I said you should save til you can jump right to the key awakening. Not chip away one awakening at a time
I have two, currently on 46k NM4, do you think it's worth putting on Hex and Lust, both to A1? Hoping to hit 50k. What if i put both in Ymiret get him to A2 and then use a morale set, would it stack to 10%?
Not recommended no, BUT at the end of the day, it's your account brother. If soulstoning Thallen made you happy or you just wanted it, then it was the right decision for you.

Incidentally, I have no regerts - Kigiri went from doing 70M dmg on NM4 to 165M. Absolutely massive.

Hearing ppl “you’ll get dupes eventually save them” when you an a3 Edith, a3 Azhor, a3 Anai, a3 Razaak, a2 Kai, a2 Orim, a2 Ezryn, a2 Setram, a1 Crach, Zelus, Sadie, Regulus, Constance, Cerberus, Calypso, and Nocturn.
I used mine for Hex A3... I still have one soul Stone of each left over. His A3 is so sweet

A3 made my Hex jump from 100m to 150m in GB1 and i don't even have the sutra !

I pulled 2 unpolished last week, my guild has gotten a fair amount. They seem about as rare as divine drops from my experience

I am kinda new to the game but i will use all of mine on Ajax he is my main dps on everything. And you misspoke on Ajax A5 its not the Ult he gets the dmg boost from its his other ability so if you are lucky you can have the dmg boost up all the time

For me the best candidates for unplolished soulstones are Lady Alex,Sun Wukong,Silas for A1 Alistair & A5 Lust.
In month i go from A0 Ymrit to A3 i get from this event another npolished so i invest in A3 silas :) im not sure if i should reset ymrit because im using him in many of areas and he is a beast.
Alistair is slightly more viable if you've got Jeera A1 ripping those radiant erosion stacks away but it would be way, way, way down the line on my priority list
yes good point. pretty niche and endgame but that will be big for some people. but a lot of those people will already have 120k or already be well on their way
I have gotten 4 copies of Ajax so I'm not really comfortable using the stones for his a5. Will most likely get him to a5 on it's own.

Since release of game have not gotten 1 soul stone LONG time ago (was saving it for Torodor or other worthy lord only have gotten a few aracha and twinfiend and one venoma) but pulled Ingrid and it went straight to her have not got a unpolished yet (killed nm3 and 4 daily) thinking about using awarded soulstones on a2 ajax or maybe a3 zilitu

I’m really stuck between using my 2 unpolished stones on either getting A5 lust or A3 alistair or A5 Silas, (I don’t have arrogance, pope or tordor but I do have vierna and aracha)
none make sense ( lust need Arro to be worth it , alistar A1 is enough , Silas a3 is enough since you don't have a proper nightmare team to use his A5 )
depends on what content you need to push through. I would say none of this is necessary and would advice to save this. If you feel determined to do one tho, A5 silas will help you in the most places

So as of right now Ymerit is the only champ a should put an unpolished soul stone into.
I have gotten 1 Unpolished soul stone and used it immediately on Arrogance to make him A5. I also have 2 legendary soul stones waiting for ancient exclusive lord. which took me almost to 50k blood on NM4. This is also with 2 epic lords' bonus don't have any nightmare or piercer lord legendries. and 1 invig set. Current record is 49,628.
Really think that is a poor choice unless you were at a progression wall where it was ABSOLUTELY necessary
@@fastidious_gg Well it gained me like almost 10k blood in nm4. and almost to making it 50k blood with the limited stuff I have. So, I justified it as needed. Him A5 plus Tywla A1 help my tremendously. Plus, I don't pull shards very often. I am currently hording Ancient Shards for a good banner for exclusive lords. But I do understand your points but based on my account it was needed. Alot of your points on A3 or A5 champs which I only have 2 A5 champs now Arrogance and Alaura. So, for early game and even some mid game players these points don't matter, even for people that don't spend and summon alot.

@@fastidious_gg now if I had either Torodor, Ivor or even Aracha for lord bonus probs would not have done that but since I can't pull a good lord to save my life. I used Arrogance, Lust, Twyla, Wrath, Silas, Hex, Luneria, Hollow, Laurel, Dolores. and the only champ that has an invig set is Laurel and it is a trash set but since you pull her out it doesn't matter. I need 1 more gold chunk for Hollow to have a very good Invig set. But Love your videos always watch everyone for help.
@fastidious_gg just got Dolores exclusive gear, and hit 51,136k blood on nm4. She was never not on ult
I saw some youtube video about jeera / aiistar combo to make alot stuns and i use them alot so my stone went to jeera instantly :D
im going to get both of those stones after update and other of them is going to alistar but not sure yet who to use that last 1
you should really watch the video. I strongly advice against that unless it is really your only chance to progress
@@fastidious_gg I watched the whole thing through, but im mostly looking for ways to make semrah more easy and potentialy apoc 3 so alistar and jeera awakens are really good for me. Iv beaten all other content except that last boss on epilogue right now but i think i beat it too when i get my ares fully skill upped. Thanks for the advice tho. :) (last stone might go to ajax)

i made it very clear the very few heroes I thought were worthy. I then broke down every other hero that could potentially be considered.
imo, they should only be used on Ajax or Ymiret unless you are impatient and can use them on someone else to guarantee a major progression boost

Ajax a3 or kigiri a3.. decisions decisions... Just dont know if kigiri will help me get 120k in semra, currently struggling with the poison phase when getting to 80k and if I get past it the slam kills most of my dps in the next stage. Is there a way to get 120k by just doing more dmg between each phase or is the only way to get to the next poison phase? Phase 2 is currently a non issue so Kigiri might not be my answer.

Second awakening is an enormous dmg boost on some heroes. But ye alike I said you should save til you can jump right to the key awakening. Not chip away one awakening at a time
