I think you meant *balance.* ASU definitely matched their clarity. Southern’s upper brass is just larger and more prominent - they’re more balanced with their lower brass vs. MMH who has a strong low brass but their upper-brass isn’t nearly as strong yet.

What y’all think y’all invented in the past will not save you from this Stingette whooping today! As far as the Annihilate battle goes, Southern’s arrangement definitely loses lots of flare during their tuba break, but it does pick back up toward the end. I think ASU has the best arrangement overall; their intro is nice, tuba break, and breakdown are all really colorful. They’re not just blasting the entire song from beginning to end with one goal to be as loud as humanly possible.
