Four Cows Find Sanctuary

Earlier this year, we rescued ten cows from Vermont who were facing euthanasia or slaughter after their guardian passed away. We’re happy to announce that four cows have found their forever homes at Dominion Farm Animal Sanctuary - which was started by a Farm Sanctuary supporter and is a new member of our Farm Animal Adoption Network (FAAN).
Since sanctuary space is finite, we work with the sanctuary community and adopters in our network to save as many lives as possible.
Beatrice, Amelia, Daisy, and Amy stayed at our Watkins Glen shelter for three months while their new home was completed. Our team transported the cows to Alabama, where they are settling into their new home and warming up to their new environment.
We’re so grateful to have a fantastic community with FAAN - we couldn’t assist in these rescues without your help.
