Great video highlighting just one person who does this shit. Honestly, it's so demoralizing (and rage inducing) when you're a genuine person who is trying to organically grow their stream and you enter a game category with someone like this, and yes, I'm talking about myself... but it's not just this guy, plenty others do it, too. When you actually read their chats, it's all bot garbage. No genuine interactions anywhere. Twitch seemingly does fuck all about it as well, so it literally pays to 'game' their system.
I really question the mental health and morality of people who do this kind of thing, those who follow them, or the companies who support this stuff. The entire ecosystem is putrid.
Every major streamer has bots, you think XQCs chat is real? Probably 80% bots. Twitch is cooked, no rizz, fanum is taxed and quandale chungus aioli is cap

yeah i know sim, and i've noticed the viewbotting going on. how he can go from barely 20 ppl in chat to have Cohn level viewship specially when streaming certain games that normally don't have that viewership. I've very clear he's viewbotting.
So, given how blatant this is... Whats stopping you just jumping in and just contacting the companies/game devs putting up the dollars for these scuffed bounties. Im sure they would love to know that someone was taking their money and exposing their content to no actual paying players.

Twitch, while having a fun and friendly user interface and fun content, doesn't take away from the fact that it's a soulless corporate hellscape. And corporate hellscape a are known for not giving the smallest shit about their employees / contractors. But, if the people actually paying them the money were the ones being like, "oi, this fuckbanana is fucking defrauding us our of our game dev corpo dollars" they might care, at least a little.
