Aside from the presence of Rebel heroes fighting beside the droid army, this feels like something that could very well have happened in the Dark Times between the end of the Clone Wars and the beginning of the Galactic Civil War. Former heroes of the Republic now reduced to mindless stormtroopers slugging it out with Separatist holdouts. Thanks for the throwback and Happy Halloween.

I made the mod so I'll answer that for you. Han, Luke and Leia are with the droids because the droids are loyal to anyone who controls them. Imagine the rebels finding a droid factory and making a huge army of droids. Like that one Mustafar mission from the campaign.
It’s not too surprising if you think very hard about why that is. The droids are loyal to whoever controls them. What would have happened if the rebel alliance found a droid factory and used it in the war?
The reason the spider walkers are ai controlled is because they are also droids. I felt it was appropriate to carry that logic to my mod, and I guess it makes them a bit more dangerous. I was going to do that with the hailfire droids and tank droids, but by that point, the mod kept crashing.
@@GravityKills997_II I could have given them more health, but then they won’t have the same HP as the AAT’s. I could try to make the missiles home in on their targets like in the Clone Wars game, but I don’t know how… How do you think I did on the snail droids?
