@@rapereggae7961All I hear is whining excuses. There was no way the Sixers were beating the Lakers than year because their offense relied HEAVILY on Iverson scoring 40+ points for them to win. It was Iverson + defensive role players. Lakers had much more offensive firepower with Shaq, Kobe, Fisher, Fox, Horry plus strong role players. D Rose’s 2011 Bulls had the same exact problem relying heavily on Rose and it bit them against the Heat in 2011 ECF.

Take Kobe of the teams from 07-11 them teams might not even make the 2nd round. I know he had decent players but most teams had 1 or 2 superstars. Kobe guarded Iverson the whole game. Jordan wouldn't dare guard anyone who is a scorer. Oh an every time I go back and watch old footage, I find people like Vinnie Johnson, Benard King, Elgin Baylor and more who has the same skill as MJ but somehow MJ is the greatest cuz of 6 rings when Robert Horry has 7.
I keep telling people MJ ain't as great as people say. He was just the NBA 1st megastar. They had superstars, but Jordan was a megastar having made NIKE what it is today, and being the 1st to wear longer shorts. But besides that, Iverson changed the league into what it is today.

It's almost like they need to slow down the footage to actually see his movements.
He just a white blur and then a ball appears in the net.

@devegasmells - no, he tried to shoot the ball from halfcourt with 2 seconds to go on the shot clock. take a look at it. there is a difference between the game clock and the shot clock. Look first, then laugh / talk.

allen is getting up there in age though......
He was a BEAST in his prime,....maybe you were too young to remember.
He led is 76'ers to the nba finals...he basically carried the entire team on his back...
This man also made the "crossover" very popular.
If he had more help in the finals against the loaded lakers..they could have won..
But he literally had no help whatsoever.
Dont deny him and say he wasnt phenomenal.
Look at penny hardaway.. was he not phenomenal? He lost shaq,..no ring
