This is the first time an origami tutorial made me cry out of joy and stress, it's always frustration and stress. This is supposed to be a very important surprise wedding gift for my sister, whose wedding is in two days, so the stress is there regardless especially since I have gone through so much paper and tears trying to make this from videos that cut out steps I couldn't figure out. I'm going to make a couple of more practice ones before I do the full scale one to make sure I get it.
Thank you so much for the only full, comprehensive tutorial I have found on this project. I was so ready to throw in the towel and I almost spiked my phone a couple of times, having an OtterBox just made it justifiable.

Oh wow I'm gonna add this to my origami paper wishlist seems hard because of my sausage fingers I'll be careful of the creases and try not to make as many tears on the paper and crumples

Its always that in the anger i start to cry bc nothing goes according to the tutorial and rn im doin it and everything just went wrong i got lost in like the forth or fifth step and the paper is folded so many times now that i cant even get it to its normal form yet i still dont have the damn umbrella 😭😭😭😭☠️
