I was blessed to visit Dario's place in Panzannno Italy 10 years ago and eat a 14 course meal at his restaurant. Amazing!! Those cows were eating fresh grass in the back yard, unlike the crap food we have her in the US. I'm sailing Sun next December and cannot wait!
Awesome review guys. The main reason why I do not cruise when a new ship comes out is to be able to enjoy all it has to offer. We just booked this cruise for December and are learning from everyone on what it includes. We are new to Princess we will not know the differences that other frequent cruisers are talking about. Alas poor Park 19, we hardly knew ye. It was announced it will never open and it will be scraped off the ship in the next dry dock. Just disembarked this ship and talking to a couple of crew members, no one seemed surprised they are going to try something else.
I have got to be honest here but sailing on the Diamond Princess like almost every year the size and capacity of the new ships do worry me. I love a vacation where you don't have to line up for anything or worry about not getting a seat. The impression I get from watching this video is yes I could enjoy the ship and cruise on it, but it would have to be a longer cruise with more sea days and fewer ports to really enjoy both the ship and get to travel at the same time. I am kind of like you where I love the deck foods and avoid the buffet! As for drinks I didn't even come close to drinking the 15 per day on my last trip.
We just got off the Sun Princess and we will never sail on her again. The ship is so big and they don’t have the crew to service people. They don’t have enough crew to get everyone looked after at the coffee bars without huge lines. We ordered food on our medallions and we had either multiple orders or none at all. Just to many issues to talk about here. Sorry Princess, we don’t like your new ship. After 14 sailings on Princess we are a going to try a new line.
Too much emphasis on alcohol. We don’t drink (and save tons of money on cruises because of it), so all the glitz and hype Princess might put into it just goes past us.
Love you guys but really dislike the negative title especially since everything was so positive. If I didn’t already know you I would have not watched this video on purpose.

The meat is raw. Had it in Tuscany. Have family there. Like taking a bite out of a cow. Not for everyone.

The general public can’t grasp the elegance of a Princess ship.
