- Ari Shulman, an eyewitness, describes the moments he saw a plane and helicopter collide midair as he was driving home. Shulman said the plane seemed seemed to be "intact" as it was going down until he saw sparks under the belly of the plane.

It will take 1 to 2 years to fully investigate, preliminary information in a few days.

The commercial airliner did NOT "crash". Two aircraft did NOT "collide". Loaded commercial airliners did NOT cede right of way to military choppers nor apparently was even aware of it. A loaded commercial airliner in decent was assaulted by a military helicopter for the first time in US history IS what happened.

It looks like the helicopter chased the jet from behind. And that’s just following the lights. What happens in darkness, always comes to the light!! So very very sad. 15 people were on the military helicopter and 60 on the plane per the reporting I have seen.
The plane was given clearance to land, and the military helicopter did not respond to ATCs warnings based on audio in the reports.

This is the second video I'm watching where a witness says there were sparks underneath the plane and shortly after it crashed.
Both say they didn't see another craft collide with the plane.
Even in the grainy footage one can just make out sparks around the plane moments before the explosion.
This must be the real truth and not the official narrative.

If you look at the video there was a 2nd plane who previously took off & was in the air. My guess is that the helicopter pilot mistakenly thought the plane he/she was told to wait for to pass him/her & to go behind thought the plane already passed the helicopter & didn't see the other plane about to land. Horrific tragedy & my heart goes out to the family members.

It sounds like maybe the helicopter pilot had a some type of medical emergency hearing that the tower had asked them multiple times if they could see the plane with no response. There was no evasive type of maneuvering, it just kept a straight line flight into the plane. Even if the plane saw it there was nothing they could do to avoid it.
Why are we hearing from the people responsible?? You know the ones we call Air traffic control who's specific job is to prevent these things from happening..

Listen to the recordings of the DCA/KDCA Tower, they were aware PAT25 (The Blackhawk Helicopter) was too close to JIA5342 (Flight 5342) and asked it to go "behind the CJR." As others have noted, there were multiple CRJs in the airspace and the Blackhawk pilots may have been confused as to which CRJ assuming they heard the call out at all.
It was only a matter of time with all the near misses lately. Ill take my chances of the road.

I had this question too, it sounds like TACS is disabled below 1000ft and even if it did the helicopters transponder didn't report position for TACS to key on. From the recordings the Tower was aware the helicopter was too close and asked it to go behind.
