Yeah, agree, especially now that Tarja left and was replaced by Anette. I used to love Nightwish so so so much, I would listen to them everyday, and then I found out Tarja was gone and that pop singer came in. At first I was pissed, then I accepted her, she isn't that bad, but I was still pissed. And then, thanks god, I stumbled upon Sonata Arctica, I bought all their albums to date and now it's them I looooooooove!!!! And I love Tony's voice. I totally dropped Nightwish, I listen to them rarely
Hahaha I totally get you, since I can’t even remember most of the original “Wishmaster” lyrics after watching a misheard lyrics video of it a loong time ago, some 10-15 years. That’s so frustrating but funny at the same time, IDK... I recommend that video, but don’t blame me if the same happens to you 😂
He does man...they have amazing songs. Listen to Full Moon, Don't Say A Word, and also their cover of Still Loving You from Scorpions. You won't be disappointed ; )
@vioJulie noo, he was a guest singer in Nightwish before Marco was in, so after the Century Child ( 1st CD with Marco) bass player is singing it all. really like tony's voice, but in the phantom i love Marco.
You have excellent tastes! Although to be honest I actually like post-Anette Nightwish more; not because she's a better singer but because DPP had songs like "Sahara" and "The Poet and the Pendulum". Sonata top Nightwish by a lot, though. Abandoned, Pleased, Brainwashed, Exploited was my 1st metal song...
I like more the original song. This sounds so odd and I don't mean singers. say it if I am wrong but I think bass don't suite this song so well. Sorry if I wrote incorrect this text!

Indeed, but he's an amazing vocalist anyway. But Sonata is my favourite band of all time, whereas Nightwish is my...let's see...sixth.
