- this short video show you how to remove slight scratches on most brushed finish stainless steel appliances. NOT FOR USE ON CHROME OR MIRROR FINISH STAINLESS STEEL.
I can't tell you how much you saved my ass on this one. I scratched the shit out of the brand new cooler at my job and when I tried to fix it I made it 100× worse and then I did this and it looks even better than when they bought it.
Thanks for this! I ended up here after skipping the previous (nearly 12 minute long) video half way through out of sheer boredom, having not learnt a single useful thing!
This is good information, clear explanation and demonstration in 2.30 minutes. Perfect!
Just did this to a heavily scratched stainless steel sink. Looks amazing. Thank you.
Thank u sooo much for this video. Saved my stainless steel microwave that I thought I had ruined
Rock star status! Thanks a ton. I just removed a giant scratch that I thought would be on my range hood forever.
nice! I will try now
God bless you 😘
This was so much clearer than any of the other videos on here.
Thanks so much for this. Life saver 🙌 worked well on my stainless steel dual sink. If I could share before and after pics, I would. ☺
Wow you just helped me fix my new $1500.00 fridge thank you for sharing..
did you use a green scuff pad? how long did you have to work it?
@@shahsmerdis yes a green scuff pad with oil really bad scratches from magnet with metal rubbing it. Worked it probably 20 times back and forth..but hey it worked..😀😀
@@kellybishop6801 thanks I'll give it a shot soon!
Great! I scratched my range hood chimney when I was installing it. You save my life from my wife
This worked for me on my stainless steel fridge! Thank you!
What kind of fridges do you have? What oil and brillo Pad did u use, Same one as in Video?
Thank you. My new door handles got scratched and this worked
Omg!!! You just saved me from a talking to!!!!! Thank you so much!!!
HOLY S**T thanks guys! Fixed scratch on iron mongery for expensive double doors! Much love!
Wow! Worked like Magic. Thank you!
Thank u ! You save my fridge
clear, concise, to the point, thank you
YAYYY!!! This worked! Thank you!
Thanks, this helped with a removing an ugly brand name from a nice brushed steel fountain pen.
Works like a dream. Thanks
Worked in minutes. Thanks
Overall it worked great - genius
Great vid helped me alot
Works perfectly!
Beware if your appliance has more of a polished than brushed look you will scratch the shit out of your appliance, avoid using the green side at all cost
why not use the green side? how will we remove the scratches without it? did you use the other part of the sponge and it worked ?
@@kebabremover6992 use the micro fibre cloth instead.
only good for brushed finish stainless steell. DO NOT use on mirror finish!
This worked like magic right after finishing the process. But as soon as I cleaned the surface and removed the oil, the scratches came back. Now I have both scratches and smudge.
In other words, this doesn’t remove the scratches, but it makes the appearance acceptable temporarily
It took me quite awhile to get it right. Initially, I had a similar experience to yours but kept at it and the scratches seemed to disappear but the surface was dulled slightly. I then used damp fine (0000) steel wool on my fridge and range backguard and am very happy with the results.
Thank you😉
Does this really work?
Can I do that on black slate stainless and paint over it?
Exactly, That dishes pad made my steal scratch. It's so wiear that you use that for removing the scratch. 😳
Same here, I guess you’re actually scratching it a little again with this method, and since it’s brushed finished it works, that’s why he says you MUST FOLLOW the grain direction. You will practically be scratching the thing “the right way”.
Hi, we have a (coated?) brushed stainless steel part in the shower. Will this method work for it?
Thanks
I had the same thing on my stainless steel fridge. It was coated and I ruined the coating accidentally. So, yes this method will work but you will have to polish the ENTIRE piece in order to re-finish it. You can't just do one little spot. Hope this helps!
Make sure it's a brushed finish guys.
thank you
Dies this work on stainless Steel GE fridges?
Thanks
what about discoloration
they should make a polish or was to remove hairline scratches.
I wish this works for coated stainless steel
I had one scratch on refridge handle....now I have a smudge full of scratches! Looks 10000x worse :((
Val3ntinavu me too
You didn't do it right then. You gotta go with the grain of the steel as mentioned. I just did this to my brand new stainless steel fridge after not knowing how to properly clean it, and BOOM it looks beautiful now, Thank you XtremeAirUSA! I love Mexicans, they know how to clean!
@@SaraK_69not sure your comment was racist. Don’t know if u noticed but he didn’t teach “cleaning” here… just saying 🙂
@@BulmaThinks I referred to them as Mexican, which they are. Nothing racist, thanks.
Thank you for creating this video! But how do I know if this will work on my stainless steel refrigerator? I don't want to scratch it more :(
My boys put a suction basketball hoop on the fridge and now our refrigerator has circle scratches on it :(
Thanks for any help!
Did you manage to fix this in the end?
As with anything, test on an inconspicuous area like the top of the fridge
tried this...didn't work at all...
Agreed, it more scratches.🤬
@@judy9521 so true, just did more damage to my fridge
Can I use this with the iPhone 12 Pro in sliver
How much conc. HNO3 is used
lol can't remember but somehow I got the scratches back out. just do some research. but I guess it's better to use some special cleaner or pad and avoid it to begin with. seem like I wiped in one direction so I guess I kinda polished the steel so the brushed look was in same direction not all up and down and sideways. turned out ok . they should send you a small piece of metal to practice on. lol
I scratched up badly my new watch battery cover putting in its first battery with hair cutting scissors.
Silly billy 😁
@@housinauthority5258 yea should of bought the tool and should of opened the bracelet strap. But worried which ever spring pin i removed would be the wrong one and the spring pin would break.
@@CapriDuff-Harris2013 Then you need somebody to treat you to a new one 😊
That did not work
I tried this on a LG Gas Stove cooktop and i went from two scratches to many.............
Oh that pad he was using = CRINGE!!! Just use a micro fiber cloth instead!
