For most songs, I can get the basic melody going within a couple of minutes, but before I upload songs to RUclips, I usually play them like twenty times to reduce the amount of mistakes I make while recording. (And also because I enjoy it haha!) As for improving your ability to play by ear, I'd recommend starting with the right hand, then adding in the left to harmonize. To get a more powerful sound out of your songs, try replacing those single notes in the right hand with chords. Good luck!
Very good piano cover, one of the few that are actually on key for this song. Beautiful harmony on the trumpet solo as well. Kept on beat, and tempo was maintained. Definitely will be recommending this to a few people to watch it.

Do you think you could ever do something a little heavier like "Hail to the king" by Avenged Sevenfold or "Enter Sandman" by Metallica? Maybe even something by Skillet? That would be epic! And your covers are already epic sobit would be double epic!
