You see, most of these edgy morning drivers, 4 wheel and up, probably got refused a bit of willy action by their boyfriends. This is yet another road hazzard we have to learn to deal with ;-)

Ha. That's funny, you can see a mile away what a car is thinking of doing, Mr Range Rover. I sometimes keep behind some vehicles coz they are on the phone or not concentrating or summat else. Stay safe mate👍❤️

Out on Saturday morning on my Kawasaki ninja 1000sx. Down to Alton and back. You were talking about getting a smaller engine bike - my problem is that they are smaller bikes and that would make it uncomfortable for me. Perhaps that will change in the future.

I filtered through standing traffic a few weeks ago and a van driver told me off and told me it's not allowed. Ho got told to give his head a wobble and he had to readjust his mirror 🤣

Don't get yourself worked up. He might be having a bad day or he just is a jerk. Either way , road rage isn't worth it. Take a deep breath. Call it up to part of riding and refocus put it behind you and continue on and enjoy your ride. Don't let people like him ruin your day brother

sorry, still disagree with automatic and DCT stuff. technology is crud when it comes to motorcycling. i like Kawasaki making it easy to find neutral. we have a couple things that have been useful, but i think people that want motorcycles easy, need autonomous cars. because more technology has made drivers bad. but we are sold it with smoke in the mirrors as good things. the automatic car transmission should not even came out. maybe its just me that thinks that when someone gets into or onto a vehicle, should realize they do not need to be entertained while driving. but we have sounds and blinking things and music and phones and now tablets to tap on the screen and all the other distractions. but the worst ones are the kids (or even there animals on there lap and hanging out the window) in the car. anyways, i guess it wont be long till i will have to spend more to get a manual transmission or we will all be on a bus or trolly system.

I work in the railway system. There have been deep investigations done into the viability of cruise control for trains. The overriding reason it has not been adopted is because it takes away from the need to be alert and 'in the here and now' state of mind. Too much automated control leads the brain into a false sense of security. Same with adaptive cruise control. Bloody dangerous in my opinion.
It is for this reason I refuse to use a radio on a bike and have resisted the temptation to get a headset to communicate on. Furthermore I rarely use the radio or play music when driving my car. It really forces the issues of concentration.

@@BibTheBoulderTheOriginalOne I think you have kept with your mind being used. I find automation for most things are cash grab for companies. Don't get me wrong, I love my washing machine. Great invention, but when a human has ease in movement, yes, people become less attentive to what is around them, along with correction to avoid accidents. I like writing checks, I like writing with a pen. I enjoy walking and also enjoy conversation. We live in exciting times and so far the most advanced in the history of human kind. But we are now the least to use our brains as we develope products that do all things for us. I want a human driving my trains, cars and all vehicles. But I think there will be less of us by 2040. They will all have to return to the basics. I just hope they remember how it's done, because it will not do it for them. you are a smart individual I do believe.

No offence but you were way to close to the truck for your own safety, you were almost on the white line dividing the lanes, as the road bends a truck of that size needs the full width of his lane, be grateful he saw you and shouted rather than squashing you, filtering is of course completely legal but thats not much compensation if you're lying in the road, that truck is fitted with a camera thats how he saw you otherwise you would have been completely in his blind spot and if he'd swung wider to make the turn things could have turned out very differently

@@birchwoodbiker there was plenty of room to move to the right as you passed the blue car giving both of you more room as you negotiated the entry to the roundabout, if your handlebars were inside the white line it was only just, and due to the space on your right unnecessarily close to the truck, better planning and positioning could have both avoided that situation and been safer for you, and been less stressful for the trucker, sorry, we all like to filter but you cut that a bit closer than necessary,
The trucker was wrong to enter the second roundabout as he did, no doubt wound up by the confrontation, however look at the front corner of the cab as he swings to enter the roundabout and the white line, then imagine if he hadn't had the camera and done the same thing at the previous roundabout .......

@@birchwoodbiker couldn't agree more, we all make mistakes, and at times could do things better, the key to surviving on a motorcycle is to be aware of this fact and never believe we are invincible with nothing to learn, ride safe my friend and keep the shiny side up

not sure about laws with filtering, but i would not entertain any comments spoken out of vehicles. i tend to ignore and ensure my safety. i do not engage. as far as smoking, i do love me my pipe and cigars! you guys over there are getting closer and closer to a socialist country it seems. we are slipping into that here, but we are a decade behind you. when they take away the paper money, the crap will go down hill quickly.
