There was absolutely NO MENTION of the product / programs (besides the fact that you need to love them) it's all about the lifestyle you can have if you try hard enough, the selling tactics and persistent invitations. They don't care about EDUCATING the couch on actual nutrition and efficient workout accessible for different clients, literally anyone can become a couch by just following a script and that shows that the product is not the main point, but the recruitment. But of course is nothing like a pyramid scheme.... Thank you for this video!!

I was relieved at first when the intro comments weren't full of curse words but that lasted about 2 seconds - then I saw the title of the presentation - OMG - I just don't understand how anyone could think that was motivating - it removes any and all credibility/professionalism. It amazes me that people actually join these MLMs - and then stay after witnessing these "coaching" calls.
As someone who has never joined an mlm watching the zoom calls is so revealing and interesting

If you ask someone to join your pyramid scheme and they say no, STOP ASKING. No means no. I don't care what your "leader" told you. If I say no and you pursue me to join your 'team', you are harassing me. I can and WILL report you for harassment. Here is what I will do. Screen shot so I have proof. I will report you on the platform you harassed me on. I will report you to the FTC and the Better Business Bureau for harassment. Then I will block you. I will also warn my friends about you so that they know to ignore you or block you. I will not apologize for 'ruining you biz'. It's not a 'biz' its a scam. A legitimate DOES NOT HARASS people.

Your hair looks so beautiful! I wish beachbody did away with the mlm model. It would be good for women and men to just have groups to help each other with fitness goals without letting a company exploit their time and money with this gross model.

Moment of transparency. Oh gosh, and please don’t rip into me. A month ago I joined BB as a customer, on my own, to do the programs only. To be honest, I love the workouts! There was a moment (a moment) I was considering Coaching but I made a conscious thought that how could I be a health coach if I choose to do a program because I needed help with working out. Make sense? So now seeing these anti-mlm uploads has put a stamp that I will absolutely never be a coach, have a team, be a part of a team, or ask anyone to join anything. These Zoom meetings are absolutely disgusting. I would be mortified if anyone spoke the way these “mentors” speak during these zoom calls. I’m definitely going to keep using the workouts (please don’t rip me) but, I will never be a coach. My IG is private and I don’t use FB so I think I’m pretty safe. But, my goodness. They are awful.
Don't worry, I've heard a lot of people say the workouts are really excellent (and you can find them for free on RUclips so you don't have to give an MLM money).
Just be careful of the diets and shakes - those are not so great.
I used to like them to, until i did research on the meplans and also learned more about their bad business practices so i no longer support them by buying bod
Hey! I wouldn’t recommend giving this business your money at all. There’s a program I do called Camp Gladiator that offers fully virtual workouts you can do from your living room, and the trainers are all certified. Just google it! :)

Reminds me a little of when I worked in a computer store and we were constantly being told to add on as many products as possible to every PC/laptop/printer sold, plus mention the service agreements (insurance) at every flippin' opportunity. Still, at least our pay didn't rely on how many people we could coerce into shopping there.
I absolutely agree. That Powerpoint was one of the worst I have ever seen. It's like she googled "How to use MS Powerpoint" 5 minutes before putting together this presentation. No imagination. No creative use of graphics or anything. Just words on a screen. Even the same exact color scheme every slide.
Sounds like I worked for the same retailer once upon a time. I hated constantly trying to upsell. It was exhausting.

Also her swearing here feels really out of place and tactless, I don't think there's anything wrong with swearing if you're in a casual setting or you're really passionate or trying to make a point. Here she's obviously in a professional setting and not getting emotional at all. It seems like she said "F*cking" in her title to get a few laughs but it just seems really trashy in this situation. Also how are you going to make this whole presentation with no mention of the products (besides the fact that you need to love them)? This is why MLMs are compared to pyramid schemes, people.

I still do beachbody on demand. I was a shakeo drinker and miss it but i do keto and it doesnt fit in my day anymore. Luckily my beachbody coach is sarah and she's super successful and doesnt bother people.
I was people watching and the other woman sitting here on this meeting... it's sad. I saw a bunch of bored woman seeking friendships and a place to be accepted and loved. I saw a Mom picking up her little baby, I was so happy to see that yet thinking wow... she spent this long on a meeting (exact opposite of spending quality time at home with your children) that should be sending red flags up... all recruitment??? Invites?? Wait i thought this was a gift??? Giving someone a gift shouldn't cost them money or guilt. Goodness. I could go on about selling the life style in stories. How about in that planner you estimate how much money you spend this far, how much you made if any, how much time you wasted and all for what?? Even the speaker said "I hope I dont have to go back to serving" not that shes making all this money in the YEAR or more she's been doing this... shouldnt be racking it in and living their "anti-corp" yet all corps are set up like pyramid schemes?? Also curious if she recommends a drink to her customer, does she make them sign up 30 people that week to sell that drink at her job?? Oh wait...
I was watching another video, forgot whose it was, and she mentioned that all these higher-up consultants keep repeating very general crap, mostly common sense things, even though they obviously know exactly one needs to do to climb the pyramid. But really, they don't want the competition, they just want these poor little consultants to keep "working the business", keep buying their own shit, possibly buying their way up the ladder, which makes those higher-ups money but they don't want them to be *too* good because that would take away their own immediate downline recruits. I thought it was a really good point I don't remember having heard in other anti-MLM videos. This girl made me think of it, again, because it certainly applies here as well.
Absolutely! They always say they don't make money off recruits which is entirely BS. The more people you have below you who are attempting to work the "business" the more money goes into their pocket. I notice the people who are at the tippy top barely post and promote anymore- their downline does all the dirty work.

But I’m really irritated because there was literally an MLM advertisement for how to make more money in your MLM in the middle of this video. This reminds me of being asked to be a “speaker” in an AA meeting 🤭 very cult like tbh and yes I know AA helps a lot of people. I’m talking about the hierarchy part of it. The chips = the levels like “diamond” . The zoom talks = being asked to be a speaker at a meeting. The “mama” coach and “baby” coach = sponsor and sponsee in AA

A girl was harassing me to get into 4life mlm which is very similar to beachbody and herbalife, she was trying to connect with me pretending she likes the things that i like, the same music, same lifestyle, and i felt weird, then i realized her connection tactics were fake, she was selling herself all the time, making a pitch and it doesn't work that way, people is smart and can sense that behaviour, i told her i may buy you a product in the future but i do not want to harras people all the time for something that's very expensive, people has bills to pay, realistically the connect tactic doesnt work.

I honestly didn't know Beachbody was an MLM until well after I bought one of Tony Hortons workout DVDs. They set me up with a "coach" and join a Facebook group. Once I was "accepted" I saw the posts and was like....NOPE!
