Such beautiful ladies with such beautiful messages!! Janet, we have never met in person, however you may (or may not) remember a time, several years ago we had some minimal communication, back & forth... mostly regarding my Daughter & that she & I both have a condition/disease called Neurofibromatosis (type 1) & at the time there were concerns over some brain tumors which you so graciously would pray for... there was also Ann Downing & Lynda Randall... who had a bit of contact with me as well... & we SO APPRECIATE all the prayers offered up. This was sometime in the 90's if I can trust my memory. Well, my Daughter is now 37½ years old, still has her tumors, plus 2 more actually... however no surgeries due to the fact they continue to appear non-cancerous🙏!!! We still continue to deal with some special needs & Asperger's, but the greatest thing is that she continues to keep Jesus FIRST, EVER since she was an Itty bitty thing... ❤ Jesus First ALWAYS. Well, the biggest change, I suppose... now is... I was recently diagnosed with a brain tumor, it appears to cover part of the outside lining of my brain... just one, I understand. My Daughter is now up to number 8 or 9 since her first was found during her toddler years, then 6 by the time kindergarten had rolled around... 😮sounds scary, I know... yet, She never "allowed" worry! We just kept praying & trusting God... & in one particular prayer service, the visiting Evangelist, at the end... things winding down, halted EVERYONE... He looked to where we were seated & called on my Daughter (Rachel) to come up front... he mentioned many facts that were not common knowledge at our Church... he was not even wrong. As he called for the Saints & prayer warriors to come forward... he examined his bottle of oil... a prayer was said... and as they all began praying specifically for Rachel's brain tumors... He emptied his oil bottle on her head!! He even grinned & gave it a shake as to get every drop!! NOT A DRY EYE WAS ANYWHERE! That following week, at a routine check-up... 🙏🤷🏻♀️, they actually ran some tests twice!! Some of her long time tumors had shrunk! Some had looked less dense... & they could not find 2 of them!! GOD WAS AT WORK FOR SURE! These 2 newest do not worry us... God has a reason/purpose, AMEN!! As for my new "buddy" covering part of my brain lining... is new territory, & only weeks before this was discovered... I was diagnosed with Type-2 Diabetes & now require insulin pen injections & of course finger pokes. My sweetheart Rachel has no problem helping me with either one! 😅 I think she may enjoy doing them!! Ha ha!! We do not know yet, what or if treatment(s) will be needed for my "brain buddy" but, what ever the case... Like you, we know the goodness of God!! Everywhere Rachel goes... she testifies of that goodness!! (I am less social & "hide" in my car & at home a lot!) I do not verbally communicate much anymore (really bad Dental experiences over the last 2+ years... no joke, ha) this has left me 100% toothless, hungry& unable to speak correctly. Not sure what will become of this situation. All in God's hands!!! As for YOUR ongoing challenges, just know... you are in our prayers as well!! Much love to you... & yours!! God Bless!!
