Rebuilt Bulleid Merchant Navy pacific No. 35018, BRITISH INDIA LINE, leaves Huntingdon working 1Z48 this morning. 47802 was providing ETS power at the rear.
35018 was the first of the Merchant Navy pacifics to be rebuilt along more conventional lines, in 1956. The 'rebuilts' comprising the Merchant Navy Class, and also the slightly smaller light pacifics were impressive-looking locos.
