Chutney is a great side dish for both spicy Indian dishes and slow cooked or braised dishes. And curries. The most famous version is probably mango chutney, but rhubarb chutney is at least as good, and a really good variation.

Thanks. I am constantly changing it up a little bit to see what works. I thought that the "setting up for photographing" might be amusing to do this way. Glad you liked it. Unfortunately the pictures that are good for food magasines are not that good as youtube thumbnails.

How long can you keep this chutney for? Can I store it in the pantry or it has to be refrigerated?
I made your rhubarb lemonade and it is the best diluting juice/cordial I've ever made. It is rhubarb season, I am learning the different ways of using it from you. Here in Scotland we usually just make rhubarb crumble. Last year I made rhubarb compote via vaterbath canning method. It was amazing.
The smell and colour of rhubarb is simply amazing. Thanks for the wonderful ideas. I have to get an ice cream machine after your video about rhubarb sherbet for sure. Oh my, it looked fantastic.

Now this is the 5th of the rhubarb series and I really enjoyed if I may say so. I will definitely plant some in my orchard next season. Don’t mind if I ask you , are you a professional cook or related to food preparation? Thank for the video.

Thanks. It is the last rhubarb recipe this season. I am a self taught cook. But has cooked for money :-)

The chutney looks really good apart from two things; where's the vinegar and salt? Surely the chutney won't last that long without them.

Shame no one replied but if anyone is interested, I made two large jars of chutney and opened one after 2 months and the chutney is just perfect
