You taught me 1st song in Still the same about 10 months ago. Satisfying and humbling all at once to be able to play this at the level I'm now at. You teach fantastic while exuding such a beautiful and comforting spirit that sings so uplifting. Amber, you've been a blessing and a true earth angel, allowing for such an incredibly enjoyable guitar journey. I'm gonna be playing these 2 Seger songs back to back and will always remember that Stellar lady Amber 4 teaching them to me!! May you have a blessed day in every way 🙏 ✨️ 💛 🎸 !!!!
Wow that was masterful as always. You made that look so easy. What kind of mike setup are you using? Is your guitar on mike or is it plugged in to an amp? Are you using a special video camera? Some people use their phone. Thinking about recording my playing every couple of months to measure my ability or how much I am improving. Any feedback is appreciated.
Old Bob is gonna be pissed when he sees this! He doesn't like his stuff out there for us to learn. Check the guitar tab sites. He has everything taken down. He's a prick.
Hi Amber! Thanks one more time to teach a song no much known for me but sure loves for a lot of people. As you tend to do, a beautiful explanation and a beautiful voice. Thank you very much for other nice Sunday. Greetings Amber!
Formidable ,tres agreable a jouer et a apprendre🤩 ,Merci bon Dimanche mon café a meilleur gout le dimanche a 12h00 et je sais pourquoi. Great, very pleasant to play and learn, Thank you good Sunday my coffee tastes better on Sunday at 12:00 and I know why
This is a question and not criticism: I notice you play both the G chord and Em chords with your index finger on A string ...is this to make it easier for beginners..or is this the correct way? I always find it confusing when a chord is played differently. I have been practicing the chords using my middle and ring finger as I find it easier to move between C major chord and G and likewise between E major and Em? The A major chord is another chord that seems to be played differently by musicians. Thanks for the fantastic lessons.
Good question. I have been playing since the 60 s . The fingering I use is related to the chord sequence you are doing. In other words, the easiest and fastest configuration to connect and change chords. I call it finger GPS. Personally , I play open Em in one of three ways : one finger ( some cannot do this), or with index on the A string or middle on the A string. Depends on the lead in chord and follow-up one. Same goes for G to C sequences , etc. No one way or right way. Main thing is to experiment around and have some fun playing.
I don’t know why you can’t consistently provide a short preview of the song before showing chords. I have an ear for music like many people. Having your version of the song in my head makes following your lesson much more effective.
Hi Larry 😊 please use the chapter markings I place in the video to navigate to the play along which will give you a great overview of the song with the chords and lyrics on the screen. Win win!
