Johnny Woods was one time partner to Mississippi Fred McDowell,they recorded one LP.R.L.Burnside looks like his younger brother to Fred McDowell-he has a lot of facial similarity to Fred McDowell,but Fred McDowell playing was mor sophisticated & more powerfull sound.
