Thank you for sharing with us all. So nice to see part of our homeland since I haven't been back for almost 4 years now since Covid. You are doing awesome girl, no need to apologies. Pepe is so cute, she is adapting really well to the camera😍😍 Much alofasto your lil fam💕
You do so great in your videos, there is no need to apologize sister! The way you are filming now makes the experience real for all of us to enjoy your shopping and vlogging journey. So nice for you to show us all the stores and the gas station. It's Really fun to see, for some people (like me), that have never been there! What do most people do for work there? I like how you can pay for your electricity in advance and it beeps when you are getting low. That is really nice! So glad to see pepe Thessaly again; she is growing up so fast! Very happy your channel is doing so great! By the next time you vlog, you will be at 1000!! *Fa'afetai tele lava for the video today! Manuia le vaiaso, & Alofa Atu Always!* 🙏🏻❤️🙏🏻❤️
We love seeing your comment! You’ve been such a kind soul to us, thank you 🙏🏼 I definitely feel weird filming but after all is said and done I feel accomplished sharing our journey 😁 As for work, there’s a lot of people in government jobs in different auxiliaries and then there are lots of little shops and stores. Each store also has security around the clock and there are so many taxi cars everywhere you go. That’s what we’ve seen in regards to work. Thank you again for watching! We appreciate you and you aiga! Alofa aku, Manuia le aso! God bless 💙
So glad I came across your channel 🤩 hoping to move back home in the near future so I appreciate you sharing your family’s experience settling into your new home!!! Thanks for taking us along 🥰

Trish you sound like a local now hehe !! you know all the stores to get your shopping from even if it means going to different shops! And Ms Thessaly is adjusting well ! Look forward to more videos guys 🤍🤍❤️

When shopping at any grocery stores, don’t listen to the security guards, they have no damn business to interrupt! You do you! They have nada but fa’amaga their mouths for money 🤣🤣!! You do you boo 🧡
😂 I love this comment so much 🤣 I need to do another one but every thing is so damn expensive and I don’t want y’all to see me spend $500 tala on 5 items for the week 🤣🤣
Oh hey girl!!! Oh my goodness, elementary feels like a lifetime ago 😂 thank you so much for watching! I hope all is well in life, for you and yours! Alofa aku!
That’s a great question! I’m not exactly sure. You can try SMI in town. They might have it or know where you can find some. So sorry I wasn’t able to help!
Awesome. I grew up in Tutuila and always think about home. Upolu looks clean, beautiful and more modernized than Tutuila. LOL. Good luck. I wouldn't be surprised if you folks end up staying in paradise.
@@willgurr Thank you! We are definitely trying to get used to staying here but we're missing home so much LOL. Hopefully one day we can visit Tutuila and check it out.
Where do these Prices come from? $120.00 tala equals to $45.00 US $. The price is not bad, I just have to get used to the rates to understand the $ figures. Maybe it's better to purchase here in the U.S. then ship to Samoa?
We use the conversion rate that we get at the bank of $2.50 wst to $1 usd. So $120 wst equals $48 usd. We have family and friends who’ve offered to ship things to us, but as of right now we just buy what we need when needed. We understand that inflation is starting to hit everywhere, so we don’t really want to buy from the US and ship to Samoa because you’ll spend more in transportation fees, if that makes sense 😂 but yes, it’s definitely something you have to get use to, converting your money mentality every time we buy something. I hope that helps!
yup 😄 but it's better quality than some of the other trash cans we've seen since buying our can (which was way less than $280) but that's inflation for ya lol
Thanks for sharing! My husband has only been in bluebird once to look for something we needed and couldn’t find it, so we really don’t shop there, but again thanks for sharing!
@@theromero-sioaiga7125 The price displayed for disposable bin was outrageous. Look around just a advice. Vaitele and down town Apia beautiful friendly people. Love your Vlog..
Oh, thank you for that! We thought the same thing when we bought it, but we didn’t find them anywhere else we normally shop. But we’ll definitely check them out again for any future home purchases! Thank you for watching! Much love ❤️

Curious. What was the motivation to move to Upolu?
We adopted our daughter from Samoa and in order for us to bring her home to the states, we have to live with her for two years… so that’s our why 🥰
