Soo canoeing 1600 miles the red river to lake Winnipeg then up the nelson to the Hudson. What canoe you taking solo? Serious question I'm planning this trip to do in the next 2 years. Thinking nova craft prospector 15. Am I crazy?
@@TheHappyCamper Ive always been an avid kayaker I've been planning on doing it on a kayak. Recently though I've decided a canoe would be the better tool for the job. I've not really done to much out of a canoe though. What are some good tips and things I should practice over coming months in preparation for a trip like this out of a canoe. I know there pretty different in terms of paddle stroke ext.
@@TheHappyCamper awesome will do! Thanks you! I read canoeing with the cree like 6 years ago, and ever since I've read that I've wanted to do a route similar to Eric Sevareid's route. recently a lot of windows have been opening to allow it to be possible!
I learned something by watching your video sir! From your new friend 🙂👍👍
