Thank you so much for your kind words and support! It's indeed a special space where creativity flourishes, and I'm excited about all the fabulous garments and projects that will come to life there. Your encouragement means a lot to me 💜
Thank you so much for your enthusiastic comment! I'm thrilled that you love my sewing studio and that it inspires your own dreams of creating. Your kind wishes mean a lot to me! Good luck with setting up your sewing studio-it's such a wonderful journey to embark on. If you need any tips or advice along the way, feel free to reach out! 😊
Once again its a lovely blog and reveal. I love everything especially the ironing board and cuff board attached. I have never seen one attached before. Thank You xx
I'm so happy to see you! I was getting a bit worried because it's been so long between videos. Kaffe Fasset is pronounced like safe only with a hard K. His fabrics are always fabulous and very much in demand, rare to find them on that deep of a sale so lucky you. His quilts are just masterworks of print and color. Knitters love his sweater patterns. What a wonderful sewing space! Light and bright, a great room to work for hours. Will it stay cool in the summer? Pleas, please, please put something around the balcony so the dog is safer. Even a couple pieces of Plexi from a poster size picture frame will work and won't change the architecture. You can score and cut it yourself and maybe drill a few holes where it can be wire wrapped to the wrought iron. The gray/white/yellow fabric is so lovely. Funny, I was thinking it would make a cool slouchy blazer when you mentioned a trench. Then when I saw the finished room I was thinking it would have made a beauty of a curtain in there. I've always made my knit garments (and most wovens when I can) completely on my serger so I'm surprised to learn others don't. That's why I bought my first one back in the 80's, to seam and finish at the same time. I've always had 4 thread models so very secure seams. I'm taking a class and the instructor says she sees seams on the sewing machine, then finishes the seams with 3 thread serging. I see that as such a waste of time, she's essentially making the garment twice. Heck, I'm old, time is a commodity I can't afford to waste, lol. Again, so happy to see you. I'd love to see more of your town, perhaps you can take us along next time you are out walking. And the rest of the apartment when you are finished ♥️
Thank you for your kind words and concerns! You're right; his fabrics are stunning, and I feel lucky to find them.💜 I'm thrilled you like the sewing space! Regarding the gray/white/yellow fabric, it's indeed versatile and could work for various projects. It's interesting to learn about your experience with sergers, and I agree that they can save time and create secure seams. 💜
I love your space. I have a buffet like that but I have my grandmothers China in it. Therefore, not available for fabric storage. Bummer. Besides, I don’t think my son would hayl that solid thing upstairs to my sewing room. He is so unreasonable. Great idea for thread storage. Clever.
Lovely room!, I am from Spain but living in Amsterdam. I love the Spanish old apartments, make me feel nostalgic!. Your room is stunning! I am missing the sun! :) Is your dog from Greece?, I have a rescue from Greece a Kokoni, she looks just like your dog! :)
Thank you so much for tuning in and for your comment! My dog is from Lanzarote...we always thought he was a just mixed breed but I think he is definitely a Kokoni! I read about their temperament and it's definitely like him. It's really cool to know! Thanks for sharing that and hugs to your dog, too!!
Thank you for sharing your before & after beautiful sewing room. This is where all the fabulous garments will take place. So happy for you.❤

Well, a buffet with special china sounds pretty worthy of the space 🥰 I just carried home my grandmother's Christmas set and I just treasure it!
