they are both good....but personally i think the 2018 model is better because it looks much cleaner less aggressive looking

I do too! thanks for appreciating the older model since i own it 😂 but yea man it's all about the rider preference. I love them both!

The 18 looks way better. The 22 looks like a Japanese bike.

The difference is performance. The new one gives you better stability in the corners epecially mid corner. On the 2018 one I didnt have more shoe left after a track day, but the new one you dont scrape the toes. Better agility and longer stoke in the forks, pivot point on the swing arm is raised also. So on the track its a completely different animal, but on the road its not much different. But offcourse nobody buy a Panigale V4 for just road riding.

both are really nice but I like the bigger windscreen on the 2018. I don't understand why they keep making them smaller.

The screen on the 18 bike is aftermarket. It comes from the factory with the same size screen as the 2022 bike.

Unlike most motorcycle brands Ducati has made major technical improvements to the V4 since it came out to the point that i recommend buying the newest model. I have a 2021 street fighter V4 and even though i wouldn’t upgrade to the 23 model just for some minor updates. They’re good enough id buy over a used bike NeverMind all the fixes and updates “reliability”. Ducati has been on a fucking roll and besides adding wideband support or direct injection. There isn’t much left in the current V4 platform, also I’d be really curious about the 2023 Ecu updates like the new cooling fan logic and also don’t forget you have a new high power mode which eliminate all the torque reduction, except for first gear. Like about damn time all of us have had to flash the bike even if you had the Akra tune pre 22 MY you where screwed

well said my brother, i'm curious too on the ECU updates. I'll find out about that for the 2023 as well. Yea i did forget about the new high power mode of this newer model and they also made the first gear on the gear box bigger too!

The 18 is much nicer looking in the front. New one is too wide.

2018 has better looks it is more sleek. Especially at the front. The 2022 design is too wide and less angulated at the front

Did they fix the heat issue on the new ones ?? Seriously i was so excited when the dealership called for a test ride, i was 100% sure it is gonna be my next bike, but when i felt the heat after few minutes of riding i did rethink everything about buying it 🤣🤣🤣 it was brutally hot 🔥🔥

Needed this video. Have a xdiavel now and wanting to change to a v4s. I'm in Texas and wondering how bad it is to ride in summer. Similar to Las Vegas, we have a brutal long ass summer.... if too hot, I have to go for s1k rr...
