As a serious Lou Graham fan, these people absolutely killed this song. The lead singer was spot on and the back up singer was fabulous and the band was just as great . I loved their version.
I grew up with Lou Gramm and Foreigner. Few have earned the right to attempt their material...Danny Lopresto has the credibility and talent to sing this song and not just 'cover' it, but make it his own. Danny is in that Pantheon of talent. HSCC has another hit.
It's amazing that if you close your eyes and just listen to the music, it's like hearing the songs for the first time that HSCC redo. There's not one ,not one song that they have done that is not Spot on. That's why I think people are so quick to say better than Lou or whoever thay cover. Thank God that we have these guys to listen to today.
Lou has one of the greatest and most recognizable voices that has ever graced a microphone. 100 years from now people will still be rocking out to his songs on planet mars, and Danny you did not let him down here, once again the HSCC you delivered the goods in spades
ONCE AGAIN, the man Danny Lopresto can sing anything to perfection, hell even better than original - what a fantastic talent - Pina's backing IS too good great talent too - tight band - love it 👍👍👍
@@robertcuratolo5339 - good response, but I believe pound for pound having followed HSCC online and seen what Danny can sing I'd say Danny is the much better all round singer heck he can sing anything while Lou is purely signature singer - don't get me wrong Lou WAS fantastic singer songwriter in Foreigner which kinda fell apart after his illness
@@danieldistrola2873 - pick any 6 songs from any 6 different bands (exclude Foreigner & solo career) and Danny would kill Lou outright in a singing contest - without any doubt
YEEEEEEEESSSSSSSSSSSSS !!!!!!!! You finally did Midnight Blue. My god that was superb guys. Danny - is there anything that this guy can't sing ? Lou Gramm is one of the best vocalists of the 80's in my view, the nuances in his voice are just next level - this song is massively underrated and not known by many, but its a classic, and you guys proved it. Thankyou so much for doing this amazing cover - I know I've been blabbing on about it for over a year now, but my god - you guys did this incredible song justice. I hope Lou and his family hear this. Fantastic job. Well done.
Greetings from Tennessee. A great cover of another 80s classic. Like a lot of vocalists, Lou Gramm is not easy to cover because of his singing style and how long he can hold a note. Danny held his own and knocked it out of the park.
I was just thinking about how much of a weakling I am compared to that guy haha. My arms would be so sore like 30 seconds in and that percussionist is keeping it up for 4 minutes straight!
@@harryballsacky It's not just men that can do this. In fact I bet Sheila E could achieve it no problem. She's an amazing percussionist! There are a lot of great female percussionists out there.
Holy mackerel!!! I'm 60. I have seen the live performances of the greatest rock stars of the 70s and 80s for the last 45 years. I saw Van Halen when they were an opening act for Black Sabbath. This little band has taken a fantastic song and knocked it out of the park!! Awesome!!!
HSCC and Danny Lopresto never cease to amaze me with all the famous renditions of classic songs you folks play and sing to. Great performance, 2nd to none ! Love it ! ROCK ON !!
So I was at the store today and Lou Graham~Midnight Blue came on and I'm telling you all at the HSCC, y'all spoiled me on your rendition. As soon as I got out of the store I cranked it up on Apple Music. That's how you all have changed a lot of these classics for the better. Keep it up...Ed
“I won’t say where And I don’t know when… But soon there’s gonna come a day, Baby, that I’ll be back, again… Yeah, I’ll be back for you… You see, I’m saving up my love”…❤️❤️❤️
The woman backing Danny has a beautiful voice. Not taking anything away from him at all. She can hit those high notes like Cyndi Lauper. Just discovered these very talented musicians. Glad I did.
Just a killer rendition of this song!!! Hats off to you all for just nailing it on one of my favorite 80's rockers!! Brings me right back to my college days.
Oh man!!! Immediate tingles and shivers… this is one of my all-time favorite songs… and Danny you nailed Lou Gramm’s vocals. Well done HSCC. Absolutely loved it. Now I’ve got to go back and listen again. Just too good. Love you all!
Absolutely brilliant cover of a rock classic, and a wonderful tribute to the legendary Lou Gramm. In my opinion, and in his prime, Lou was the best rock vocalist of his time, and he has always been a fabulous human being.
What can be said about the vocal performances that hasn't already been said, magnificent! But I would like to shout out the percussion section, Brad and Steve are spot on and rock steady!
HOW ELECTRIFYING CAN DANNY AND THE TEAM PRODUCE SUCH A GREAT NUMBER IS A HEAVEN ‘s GIFT FROM YOU GUYS AT YSCC. THANK YOU GUYS . BIG NUMBER .KEEP SAFE. GOD BLESS! From the old guy at 79 who always have the kicks from many of your numbers . Thank You ,again.
Fantastic vocals! Dead on! Not an easy song to sing because of Lou Gramm's very unique phrasing. But, spot on! Great all around performance. Very impressed!
I think I heard the occasional similarity to Lou Gramm's vocals in this one. Even if I'm wrong, it is still great to hear this again after so many years. I'd forgotten about it, so just hearing the beginning of it was a journey back in memory.
Another hidden gem, Lou Gramm's 'Midnight Blue!! Again the HSCC brings new life to a timeless soulful ballad!! Excellent!! Thank you from the east coast of the U.S.!
“And that’s the one”-for sure. You can see it in the performance, everyone nailed it. The emotional intensity really makes this a special cover of a wonderful and under appreciated song. Thank you!
Just takes me back to my HS days. Lou Gramm is simply one of the best vocalists of the 80s. Danny, as always does a great job. Love this song. Thanks for bringing it back.
Con has these musicians dialed in tight. As for Lopresto, he doesn't try to sound like the original artist. Danny sings it from within his own frame. His control, interpretation, range and tone are 2nd to none! With Con leading these musicians and Lopresto up front, there is nothing that HSCC can not cover to the highest standard and sometimes besting the original. 👊🏼😎👍🏼
Woah! No one can do lou gramm but you smashed it Danny! One of my favourite songs. I was bit frightened to click on this one because I know every nook and cranny of this song. You nailed ot vocally! Bravo!
When I saw this band for very first time I said. this is so real.. I love all those songs they can sang.. very nice and very popular.. I think it's so original... Shout out from the Philippines ☺️☺️ God bless you all ☺️☺️☺️

Completely agree!!!
It's Gramm. Short for Grammatico.
Lou Gramm was my neighbor for a few years. Humble man, good soul. Wish him the best.
Gawd, one of my favorite summertime tracks....

Well said mate. He's like a vocal chameleon.
What vocals Danny has produced here, amazing rendition.
So in the pocket man!!!!
Absolutely on the money!! I can only imagine Lou being so proud of these folks, as well as flattered. Amazing job everyone!!
Ciao! Benedica!!
Danny has the perfect voice to cover Lou Gramm. The rest of the band is very solid as well. I love watching HSCC. They are all so talented.

My favorite LOU GRAMM song and this band played it to a "T" !

Everyone on that stage played a PERFECT PERFORMANCE 🎤🥁🎸
I’m a huge Foreigner/Lou Gramm fan. I’ve always loved this song. Great job covering it!!!
Foreigner belongs in the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame.
Definitely
Pfftt. RRHoF have their heads up their patootie.

Lou Gramm great rock singer-songwriter 👍
Came up on my feed because I've been practicing the guitar on this one. You guys crushed it.
What a great reminder of how excellent Lou Gramm's rock voice was before his unfortunate health decline. Such a classic 80s rock anthem.
Saw Lou 2 days ago in concert....he was amazing to hear at 72 years old and went 2 hours singing with no breaks
