    Thanks for showing us these sites. My own discoveries on the west coast indicate that Pictish signal lines were longer. The longest I have found is 22 km linking Mull with the mainland to the south east and likely dates from 200 AD (see: "Messages from the past: Iron Age signalling in Argyll"). It would be great to have a large scale metal detecting survey around the Dunning site for evidence of any battle.

    Nice video. I cycled this route and found the trees blocking the route as shown at 4:30 in the video. Was able to lift bike over. Not suitable for road bikes, mine was a hybrid.
