I love the micro expressions in Murtagh's eyes when Jamie first screams at him. You can tell he recognized the voice. Brilliant acting.
Ay, indeed. Sam is a Greek god, but less subtle with the acting :)
it's so perfectly done, Duncan is an amazing actor.
Yes I like this actor's acting! The quiet strength of Outlander.
I can't believe he remembered a song she sang over 20 years ago. That's wild. Just goes to show how much he bonded with her during their time together.
Well he did listen to it in every tavern in Scotland at least once a night.
Murtagh is my favorite supporting character in this series. I love him, like an uncle I never met.
Yo, Jamie and Claire’s reunion didn’t have me as emotional as this one 😭😭😍😍 I screamed when I saw Murtagh, I missed him so! Seeing him again brought back the memories of their adventures pre Culloden
Yah 💝💝💝💝💝💐💐💐💐💐💐👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍💐💯💯

I’m crying again. I love Murtagh.
"Uncle, you ken this coot??" 😀😂😁 I loved this scene. Even now, rewatching it brings tears into my eyes.
"Now... who r u calling an old coot?" 🤣🤣🤣
@@insomnia610 AULD COOT
Jaime and Murtagh reuniting was precious, but I actually cried a bit when he and Claire reunited, just for how they wrote it. Him coming up and whistling that tune they used so many years ago to locate Jaime. I loved how their relationship progressed and they found common ground, and the funny mishaps they had together, and seeing them come together again with a small tidbit from that time was beautiful.
Jaime shouldn't have told her that he was alive at all. It would've been more impactful when she heard him whistle
Totally agree.
Disagree. He told Jamie he wouldn’t come to Fraser’s Ridge so he wasn’t expected to visit.
Also, I always thought it would have been a lot more impactful if Jamie's interaction with Murtagh here was our first time seeing him too. Never understood the decision to go with the scene earlier on between Ian and Murtagh as the first we see of him.
I know! That would have been awesome!
Literally can't stop watching these clips.
Yeah, I've already lost count.
Me too
I want him back in the show. Murtagh was so good. They could've killed of someone else instead.
Oh yes that awful Ian character can go. Or Marsali or Fergus. Ugh.
The reunion we deserved!
Oh man, thats so bittersweet now.
This show has so many great scenes. This one is one of them
Love Murtagh 😍 this is so bittersweet now 😭😭
Ian was like 👁️👄👁️
A Remarkable reminder of the phenomenal acting that took place between Jamie/Sam & Murtagh/Duncan throughout ‘Outlander’ the feeling of utter elation when they recognised each other was priceless, thank goodness Murtagh didn’t die at ‘Culloden’ when he was supposed to, at least Diana gave him an extended reprieve, it didn’t soften the devastating blow to Jamie though when his beloved Godfather was actually killed, a sad loss of a great character that non of us will ever forger 🥲
I was so disappointed wen I read the books and found out he'd died at Culloden. Imagine if this was in the book! 😭
Murtagh was my fav I was so sad when he died but this moment was amazing having him back with Jamie
Jamie: Murtagh
Subtitles: Marta

I read the books long before I watched the show. I was so confused to see that Murtahg was alive and doubted my memory!
I was quite sure that he had died in Ardsmuir Prison... but then I was even happier because Murtagh is such a complex and lovable character.
I’m so happy for them😢😊
i got teary eyed on this one too😊
Murtagh's face when he hears Jamie yelling is fabulous! This scene is perfect ❤
I think I’ve never cried so much in my entire life like watching this series.

His death was so weird, i mean he didn't deserve to die that way :((
Though it would have only been a further divergence from the books, I can’t help wishing that Jamie had told Murtagh about what Bonnet had done and that he was alive, and asked for his help. That would have been enough to turn him from the uprising, his loyalty and oath to family, and then we’d not have lost him. His death is one of the most devastating of any character I can think of, Duncan Lacroix brought so much life and depth to that character, he will be so sorely missed.
Jamie and Claires' reunion just made me cringe, in this scene I genuinely cried
What a waste of a character Murtagh was. I don't like that he was killed.
