    Thank you, great explanation of the FIB for Oil... Is there a technique that helps know if the level will keep dropping or just drop a small amount after reaching the 0.786 level?....cause many times it just drops a bit below and starts going up again.....always talking about Oil.

      Thanks for your feedback. Use the levels as support and resistance. The candles tell the story.

      Go into the settings of the fib indicator, and add them by checking the box and adding the related extensions. Let me know.

    Dude, can you tell me, if it pulls back .68 and then goes up, and there's another big positive bar, is Fiboracci pulling from the new big positive bar? Thank you for your time.

    • @TheProfessorTrades
      @TheProfessorTrades  Год назад +2

      You don't change the fib levels. The 61.8 should be your entry and whatever price does higher, that is your trade in profit in your example. Does that make sense?

      I studied price action for months and realized a higher percentage of reversals near the 88% versus the 61 and the 100% is a change in structure. Thanks for the feedback.

I was not lazy so...i actually went months back to reflect on my past trades and i did the math...87% of my lost trades would be have been profitable with approx 5500 points of profit. Shocking. Very Appreciate for your guidance and teachings on Fibonacci retracement levels (Fibs), 50-week moving averages (MV), and support and resistance (S&R) levels in our trading education. Your expertise and dedication to helping me understand these valuable tools have been instrumental in my learning journey.
    Your passion for teaching and your willingness to share your knowledge have made a significant impact on my understanding of trading, not only in crude oil but also in Bitcoin and Gold. I feel fortunate to have had the opportunity to learn from you.😇

    All the way from the UK sending appreciation, this is great! The question I have is in regards to the first initial candle on a 5mTF what are the rules of that candle ? If we have strong bullish momentum that leads more than 1 engulfing candle so say 1 big candle followed by an another that is smaller in size, do the same Fib rules apply here or do we take a different approach?

    • @TheProfessorTrades
      @TheProfessorTrades  8 месяцев назад

      Thank you UK! The smaller time frame, the harder to get a real picture and more fakeouts. I would use the fibs on the 1h to start, and entry on the 15 min candles.
      If you drop lower, than use the 15 min candles and drop your entry to 78% or so versus 61.8% for wicks and better entries.
      Test it and let me know.
