@Ray Patson the thing about miu miu is she sings it well, she's a good singer, but she gives innocence to the song when what it needs is experience, someone who's been through the pain and knows what it's like. In other words, someone who has lived through the lyrics.

I was going to marry a girl. The sweetest, most beautiful girl I ever saw. I called her the "architect of my dreams". I proposed to her in Bruges, Belgium, singing in a park. She was my all. Sadly, our relationship went sour, and we never made it to the altar. We first postponed the wedding; then, after months of struggling to keep aflote, we broke up.
It was extremily painful and difficult to come to the realization that we were not to be. That the best thing, for both of us, was to say farewell. The love, the immense love she awoke in my heart, was, and is, still there. I said farewell to this beautiful human being, wishing for her to be truly happy with whoever she chooses to live her life with, to find true love in this chaotic world. This was the last song I dedicated to her.

I like frank Sinatra's take on this for giving us his usual jazzy expression, but i think the way micheal sings it really brings out the emotion and reason behind the song, it's just supposed to be something slow, soft, and generally laid back. Also just based on the lyrics, it's about how the writers heart is broken because he will never be the one she wants, but he still wishes that she's happy and does find love. This is just why I think it should be like how micheal does it.

I work at a vet clinic and we had to put down my favorite dog yesterday, I basically raised her and took care of her for 6 months, she was practically my dog. When they put her down I held her head in my lap and pet her until she went cold. This song really helps. I wish her so much love, she deserved the world :(
